So I been doing some research on one forum I came across someone recommend using fairway wood shaft adapters to get more loft. Talking to a club repair guy he said the loft wouldn't change. Anyone have any experience here?

Not that Im aware of since, for example Callaway FW/Driver adaptors are the same.

They both go up 2 and down 1... nothing different other than that.

so either way if you had one that went up to 13.5 even if you put a fairway and it said 17 and still going to be 13.5.

So, I have a 9 SZ head and I put a 3 wood shaft in it.

I went up + 2, so in theory, I changed the loft to 11 and closed the face....it happens when you go up in loft.

So on paper, the adjustable adapters should change the loft to whatever the adaptor will allowed (up or down)
