I've come to the conclusion that any urethane covered ball performs close enough to each other for me to not notice the difference, and I can switch at will.

In fact, I pulled out some original Penta's the other day and I forgot how much I love those things!

Don't roast me here, but I actually love the performance I get with the Nike rzn black 2016 ball.  Have the new prov1x as well as srixon xv and find that they outperform both of those balls for me.

I am a big Taylormade fan as well, but a lot of times I'll buy a couple dozen balls when they are on sale and just haven't needed to restock for a while.

I just made it into the 10 handicap club...was my goal a few years back but it took me longer than expected to get here.

Anyway, I play 3 different balls right now...z-star, ProV1, and KSig. I probably like the z-star the best but kinda find myself switching between these 3 depending on my mood and whatever algorithm is in my head that day about what ball would be best.

When playing all 3 do you take the best score or the worst for your handicap?  I gotta say that's a heck of a way to get your money's worth from green fees.

Yes, one at a time...I decide which one I want to play prior to the round based on a lot of factors.

I found logo overrun duo urethanes for $21. They've been pretty good for the price.

For the past 2 years I've been playing the Snell MTB.  With the changes, I'll have to decide between the two new versions when the 3 dozen I have run out.

No need for a discount on golf balls when you can get them delivered to your doorstep for $27 a dozen.

Snell MTB and occasionally the TM Project A balls.  I'm looking forward to receiving my new Snells (black and red) to start the new season as well.  Can't see spending $50 on a dozen when there are so many other good balls out there.

Bought a bunch of K-Sigs last time Costco had them online. A little soft for my liking but at that price point, no complaints. Favorites are TM Tour Preferred X (previous version), TP5X, and ProV1X. Tried Chrome Soft X, Z-Star XV, and B330S (previous version), but all too soft for me. May start looking for an eBay deal on rocks...

Whatever.

Just needs to have a urethane cover. I chase the deals. Will game any major brand that is on sale.

I prefer to only buy brand new golf balls, I've found playing even "mint" used balls gave me random shot results that where completely unexplainable, aside from the ball having the  blame.

Too many used "mint" golf balls spent too many months at the bottom of a water hazard. Wiped clean. Sold as mint.

No thanks. Brand new for me.

I'm pretty sure my own "random shot results" come from my own imperfections.  Even so, I also prefer brand new balls, I don't buy reconditioned balls.

I prefer to only buy brand new golf balls, I've found playing even "mint" used balls gave me random shot results that where completely unexplainable, aside from the ball having the  blame.
I'm pretty sure my own "random shot results" come from my own imperfections.  Even so, I also prefer brand new balls, I don't buy reconditioned balls.

For new vs used it's very much a mental thing for me..............so I prefer to go new as well.
