Here's something for all you Callaway Hos out there to drool over..... ever wonder what the tour pros are testing out during the winter..... check out the pics.

Here is a brand new never ever seen before Callaway Fusion FT Hybrid. From what I know, its got a composite crown and its will be weighted to your desired ball flight. Club sits square to slightly open (at least the ones I have - probably intended for you-know-who). Crown is dark, and you cant really see the composite material. Face is deep and the club just looks very solid. Nice and compact from front to back.

This hybrid takes a 0.350 shaft and is a bore-through. Head weights are about 230grams. I have a 14* and 17*, and am considering shafting up the 14*, unless one of you Cally Hos want to test this baby (cool) .

Enjoy the pics :drinks:

I know I'm in the miority here...but yuck...can't stand the look(or the sound for that matter) of any of the FT's...I would really like to see them put a hosel(even though that may change the weight distribution.. but at least you don't have to do the bore thru and shim to get the heads to open up). But I also know there are many other great drivers, fw's and hybrids available so I don't have to play any Cally!

Not to shabby ;) I'll have to give it a look, seeing as how I'm going to shelve my 2 iron in favor of versatile hybrid. Just haven't made a choice yet :drinks:

Nice to look at something new but IMOP the Callaway hybrids perform the worst. They just don't do it for me. My 2 cents.

I have been thinking about replacing my 5 wood with a hybrid and this is the first one I have seen that really catches my eye. I have never been a fan of Callaway's irons, but I have always thought their drivers and fairway metals were solid clubs. Be interesting to hear feedback on how they play and if they are coming to retail.

NICE!!

Ever since the PGA WITB tournament pics that count a glipse of this Ive put off buying 1 or 2 new hybrids to hold out for this. (even though people said it probably wont be released/tour only)

Very big fan of this club. Nicely blended topline and black--okay, so I'm not too terribly picky. :D I am looking forward to the 2007 release of the lefty version (unless the righty is 2007, in which case I'll just wait 'till 2008).
At any rate, great pics. Thanks.

Okay so i have the heavenwoods in the bag and I'm loving them...until i saw these. Can someone tell me
1. If it's coming to retail
2. If the answer to one is yes, than what is the timeline for a left-handed version(so i don't have to try and rob Mr.Mickelson's bag)
3. Any idea on a price

I'm sorry if any of these question's where already answered in this thread, and thanks for the help and the pics, once again this proves how great this site is.

Thanks very much for the pics- nice scoop! Reckon Cally have a winner here; just not sure about the FT logo on the sole. Love the view from address and I reckon it will look even better in person...

Unfortunately I can't comment on price or specifications but these will come to retail. Back in October the rep informed me that a fusion hybrid would be launched although this is the first time I have seen one. Looks good and although I'm not entirely sure about the different weight configurations this looks like a winner.
