Just got it before a round and while I didn't need full shots, I did 10 chip, half shots and it feels like a cast wedge compared with 2015 tw wedge. Anyone tried it?

I've got the 2015 TW in 56 and the 2017 in a 50(bent to 51) and a 60.  I like them all.  I certainly wouldn't categorize them as soft, buttery or mushy.  It's not that kind of feel.  I'd say that they have a little firmer feel that, to me, feels more responsive.  More like a Miura, less like an Epon.  Personally (and feel is a personal bias), I've found that I like and play better with a firmer feel than a softer feel.  Buttery soft sounds good, but to me it's more of a dead feel and not a responsive one.  To each his own, but you've got to figure out for yourself which one works best for you.
