Hey all! I've been awfully quiet on this thread in the offseason and I apologize. But I come back with great news!

I have secured some financial backers which I so desperately needed. I have gained almost 10 pounds of muscle this offseason and as far as tournament plans go I will go back to Canada and when I'm the states I will play in mostly GPro with Monday's sprinkled in. Come Fall I will be exempt into first stage of q school and will attack that route again.

As I type this I'm all drugged up from getting all four of my wisdom teeth taken out yesterday but a couple days before then I was able to get my first practice session of the year in. I'll include a link to my Facebook post with the face on and down the line view.

https://www.facebook...384914108617641

No equipment changes this offseason and I don't plan on changing anything other than getting the new Titleist irons. Unless someone wants to give me a Circle T Titleist/Footjoy has been absolutely fantastic to me and my unusual journey into pro golf so far. It means a lot knowing they have my back. It's easy to use their clubs/apparel anyways because they make high quality stuff.

I'm happy to answer any questions y'all might have and I hope you're ready to follow along for a BIG 2018!

Happy New Years everybody!

Long time member, somehow only found this now. Congrats on playing well and you exemption into Q-School.

If you're in Vancouver and need a caddie for Freedom 55 at Point Grey, let me know. If you're just in need of a steak dinner while you're out here, also let me know :)

Good luck, and I look forward to following your thread. I haven't made it through all 17 pages yet, any chance you're on Twitter?

Technically a 6 for 2 playoff for 4 guaranteed starts.  Youíll do fine, play well early and youíll be good to go the rest of the year

Ah I see. To answer your question I have never played on the GLT. And the question of best mini tour is a tough one. I personally dislike all of them. Itís legalized gambling with terrible odds honestly. If I were you I would practice very hard and play in state opens, GPro, and Monday Qís when easily accessible until Latin, Canadian, and Web Q school comes around.

Granted I do not know anything about you other than youíre 18. I will not bash you for that like some did me when I first turned pro at 18 but I will tell you to be careful. Yes you can get your Am status back if you want later but I would really think before turning pro. You need to be brutally honest with yourself and your abilities. Throw ego and pride away and really ask yourself ď Do I have what it takes?Ē

Maybe you do, maybe you donít. Maybe you never will, or maybe you will in 5 years. You are in no rush to turn pro the game will always be there when you feel ready to compete. Good luck
Enjoy the chase.

Unlucky today.....who did you play with?
David Hearn. I hit 10 fairways, 14 greens, 33 putts. I had an eagle and a birdie today. Both kick ins so I canít even credit my putting for those. Putting has been a real issue so far this year

Enjoy the chase.

Iíve played with him before. Sorry you had a tough round, saw your eagle. You had a pretty decent back 9. Onwards and upwards.

That's what a pro looks for in a caddie, Someone who "wouldn't mind being inside the ropes seeing how you go about your business".

are you volunteering?

Don't mind him. He's been trolling this thread from the beginning.

He made a fair point.

I'm sure Chad can find a number of people willing to caddie for him.

And describing what you will get out of a relationship instead of what you have to offer is not typically a good approach.

Thank you! That was a very big day for me. I have been struggling with putting and I made some key putts that day without my best ballstriking. Made a 10 footer on the last to avoid a 7 for 1 playoff. This summer is going to be great!
Enjoy the chase.
