It's the first time I've ever had problems flying with clubs. Just happened to be at the worst time. But I'll make it work. I'm plenty long with my 3 wood. 285 but more fairways and laying up on par 5s may be a blessing in disguise. We shall see

Enjoy the chase.

I love my friends over at the Titleist tour department. Logan and Patty came together to help resolve this issue by sending me a brand new driver in my specs and also a new bag. I don't think I'll get them until Friday afternoon, maybe tomorrow afternoon if I'm lucky. They have all my club specs in the database so once I told them it was broken they could jump right in and get to work. Patty helped me with my caved in 3w earlier this year as well

Things like this is why I will probably forever be a Titleist player. My local rep has done similar things for me in times of need, and we always figure it out on the back end so that I can get back up and going as quickly as I can.

Cracked a driver in state a open qualifier, sent a text, and had a new one waiting for me at the local shop when I returned to town to play in my city tournament the next day.

Can't say enough good things about the whole staff at Titleist!

Best of luck this week, and who knows, maybe you won't even need that driver after how you play in the first round with the 3 wood.
Titleist 917 D3 9.5* Aldila Rogue Silver 125 TX 70
Titleist 917F3 15* Graphite Design AD-DI 7X black

The bag is always a work in progress.

Also not going to discount the hard work titleist is going through for you , but if in other times off need you're on a golf nerd website maybe, just maybe someone in the area will have that shaft for you to put in your head for the week hahaha

Titleist really out did themselves..waiting for me this morning in the pro shop was my driver. From Carlsbad to Ontario in 20 hours. That is incredible. I'll get the bag tomorrow maybe before my round

Enjoy the chase.

Also onetime I was told (not sure how accuarate this is ) that because off how golf clubs are naturally around fertilizer they set off the advance screening because the fertilizer could potentially be used in other forms then to grow grass ? That's at least what I've heard as to why golf bags are always searched secondarily

Know someone that works for TSA, its the traces of fertilizer. Bomb that blew up Federal Bldg in Oklahoma was made with fertilizer.

My MP-68 4i head flew off post impact on a shot in a BB Tourney with Madison in early 2012.

I called Norcross, told em, there was silence on the phone then the guy chuckled and chirped, "maybe you should be hitting our JPX-800HD's" 😂😂

Nah, I'm joshin, they sent me a 4i and that blue/white mid-size staff bag that's in my pics, lol

However Madison said that Titleist was the Best with regards to takin care of their Staff, be they Tour or Class A's.

Haha, Mizzy asked me to please never mention their name as their goal was to improve their US market penetration, lol

The Very Best to Ya today Chad👊

Cheers🍻

Thanks guys! I think yesterday I wasn't focused because I was worrying way too much about the hurricane. The family in the DR is safe though. Today I just tried to play my game. I was getting away from it yesterday and also getting too frustrated.

Enjoy the chase.

Thanks for following along! Yeah today wasn't good at all. This week has been a microcosm of my season really. Some really good, some really bad. At least I know what I need to work on this off season. I've got it in me to be a great player, I just need to work on being more consistent.
Enjoy the chase.

With hard work it'll come. Like Richard mentioned earlier, you didn't have the full collegiate career like a majority of guys you're up against. You've had to learn to play at that competitive level on the fly. It's obvious you have what it takes with the win streak you just 2 months ago. You're obviously a very talented young man. Stay at it and keep it up. We even see the top guys in the world having there ups and downs. Some of those guys look like machines one week, than the next week you gotta scroll a good ways to find them on the leaderboard. Just don't forget to enjoy these times in your life. You'll appreciate the struggle one day when you look back. Good luck tomorrow!!!

Just like that my first year on the Canadian tour is over. I did not play as many events as I would like but it was enough to get a taste of life on tour. I already can't wait to come back.

Two MCs, a 59th, and a 24th place finish. I had some good rounds, and some god awful rounds. I dealt with last minute emergencies like Delta snapping my clubs and caving in a 3 wood right before my tee time. I got to play with some guys that I would watch on TV just a year or two ago. I got to watch my friend Sadlowski hit driver, 7 iron into a 602 yard par five and think "how can I compete with that?" (I birdied he bogeyed). Won't let him live that down haha. I also got to shank a tee ball into the crowd on Sunday, make par, and finish out my round of 64!

I am grateful for the opportunity to play this game at a high level and this offseason I will dedicate myself even more to becoming the best player I can be. Next up is 1st stage of Web Q School in October.
Enjoy the chase.

Youre gonna get there, there's not a doubt in my mind!!

What you've done so defies odds and there are World Class Players who couldn't follow the path that you have JUST to tee it up on Thursday.

Then repeatedly teein it up on Saturday morning???

GTFOH!!

Just work your arse off this winter and you'll be good to go next Spring!!

You are Planning on going to the Canadian Q in the states correct?

Stay well my Friend & thanks for dragging us along, as I'm sure some days the last thing that ya wanted to do was rehash the day gone by

Hey Richard! I hope you are well. Thank you for the kind words. I would've liked to achieve more in my first season, but this is a start. I will build on these experiences next year. I'm going to 1st stage in Dayton Nevada in October and depending on how Web q school goes I will then sign up for Canadian tour q school again. I love being able to show everybody what my life is like as I embark on this journey. It's important to show not just the good days but also the bad.
Enjoy the chase.

for what it's worth, early this year, you went back home unsure of when or what you could be playing in, and going in to your last event,
you were trying to get in to the tour championship in Canada.....AFTER making a sacrifice to go all in on some local events to keep going.

I, for one believe you should be damned proud of the last part of your summer, and what you have accomplished!

Don't over think things.  Get back to your fundamentals and basics you worked on before your run this summer, and be ready for Q school.

It was pretty exciting to watch you and Matt on your threads and be able to feel the improvements as you guys progressed....great job!!

for what it's worth, early this year, you went back home unsure of when or what you could be playing in, and going in to your last event,
you were trying to get in to the tour championship in Canada.....AFTER making a sacrifice to go all in on some local events to keep going.

I, for one believe you should be damned proud of the last part of your summer, and what you have accomplished!

Don't over think things.  Get back to your fundamentals and basics you worked on before your run this summer, and be ready for Q school.

It was pretty exciting to watch you and Matt on your threads and be able to feel the improvements as you guys progressed....great job!!
you are absolutely right. It's easy for me to get down on myself. If you meet me in person I seem like an easy going guy and I love to be silly and have fun on the golf course but when I'm alone I really beat myself up over the things I do wrong on the course. I'm a perfectionist and I'm learning to strive for perfection but accept the outcome regardless.
Enjoy the chase.

No doubt that you will accomplish great things next year.  I recall watching you drill the flagstick in the simulator in Gainesville thinking that you were on to something.  I hope you can find a great balance so that you can play your best when you need to have it.  I look forward to telling my newborn son those stories when we watch you on TV!
