I know there is an option to turn slope on and off.

My new v4 has not vibrated since I got it.  I called  Bushnell and they said if I hold the fire button, I will see a Jolt option.

All I see is Slope on or off and meters and yards.

Can anyone one confirm this?

Thanks!

Mine was turned off inadvertently and I haven't been able to get it back on either....good thing I found is that the battery life has been dramatically increased without the Jolt working. It was really going thru batteries lot faster than previous Bushnell models without Jolt, so I just gave up. Good luck

Neither model of the V4 has the ability to turn on/off jolt.  Odd since prior models could do this.  By design however jolt only works on certain objects (possibly that resemble flagsticks). I know standing in my yard with my V4 if I shoot at a car or another house I don't get a jolt. But if I shoot at a stop sign pole or similar shaped object I get the jolt.

Jolt is part of the pinseeker technology and helps to confirm that you're shooting the flag and not the tree behind it.

If it has never worked when shooting a flag, I'd call tech support and see if it's a problem with your particular unit and see if it needs to be replaced.

Has anyone also noted that the battery indicator NEVER shows less than 3 bars? My son's unit died in a tournament despite showing full power.

Talked to Bushnell today....they have never heard of the battery indicator not working.
He had no solutions either.

As I was playing yesterday, the Jolt slowly began working again.  don't know if its 100% yet, but its at least 75%... Sent Bushnell an email.  will see what they say.

I have the older V2 and the battery indicator never works either.  I always carry a couple of extra batteries.

Crazy, correct? I have even begun changing the battery after a couple of months, just in case, for tournaments.
