3 posts in 8 years?!?! You don't want to join us in some friendly/snarky supportive/confrontational insightful/stupid banter?

My failures as a WRX member are numerous. I don't drive 300 yards, only own one set of clubs, don't dress like a tour pro and only post during blue moons.

Please accept my apology and allow me to stay.

The vast majority of us don't move it out there that far - it'd be a relatively lonely place in here if that was needed.
That said; one set of clubs!!! But you just bought them right? And will buy another set soon? I can only assume that bit was left off :)

"I don't agree 100% with your analysis.  Yes, it's nice to hole out, which I did twice during last weeks game, but didn't need either to win those holes or the match.   All that was needed was a tap in to win each hole.  Of course, I was aiming from 20yds and 15yds with the intent to put the ball in the hole, but the expectation was tap-ins." The whole bag other than the putter were purchased throughout 2016. Nothing has come or gone in the bag since then except the putter when my wife bought me a brand new Bettinardi I had been eyeing up for months but never taken the plunge on. She said my Scotty had severed its time well (I got it new in 1997) and that it was time it retired (went in her bag(meaning it's spends more time on the course than it already did)).

Well, it's been over a year since I purchased anything new, and I have no plans of making any changes (I used to buy and sell with the best of them). So yes, given that, I completely fail at GolfWRX'ing.

Hi, I am Justin and I used to kinda be a WRX’er. Back when I first joined, fresh off my banning from bombsquadgolf (is that still a swear word around here?) I would change clubs fairly regularly along wih look the part.  Now, I just lurk on here.

My irons are well over a decade old, I do not hit the ball 300 either, I have never hit on a launch monitor or been fitted (been using thr Diamana series for woods and DG steel since I can remember), I don’t tuck in my shirt, and completely disconnected from the latest in swing trends/instruction.  Probably doesn’t help that I am a brand loyalist either so God only knows how many yards I am leaving on the ol’ proverbial table

Didn’t even realize I was one away from the 5K mark.  Definitely a worthy place to spend it.

I’d love to tell you the sleep will come, but both of my Peanuts are sick and I have barely slept in three days.

That all said, wouldn’t trade a single moment.

Enjoy the cuddles.  Hope the weather is more pleasant in your ‘neck of the woods’.

You know what really helps? Getting an all-expenses paid trip to California, with free golf, free OEM fittings and free gear. If your clubs came that way Dpavs I'm sure you could go a whole a season without changing too ;)

I was fortunate enough to win a contest once and I played a SLDR for 3 years off that back of it, needs to be some of that staying power. Getting through 1 season after an event that had 'WRX' in its very title is hardly failing at it :stop:

It isn't so much that I fail at WRX'ing, as it is most of you are way too stupid to comprehend, much less appreciate the witty genius of what I often post.

I am guilty as charged but promise to do better. Do a bunch of  reading but not much posting as you can see. Is there a Senior Tour WRX because I can't hit it 300. I am happy when I hit it 250. I still play stiff when I should probably commit to regular. I like expensive driver shafts but I really don't know why. I play  Srixon forged irons because when I am finding the face they feel so good. I putt with a Scotty, have 8 of them actually, so maybe I do qualify! I get emails from everything related to golf that exists . What am I thinking, addicted.

Played the other day a local young dentist joined our group. He pulls up in a red Dodge Viper. Gets out dressed like Ricky Fowler and I go okay here we go. He ends up in my group and looks at my bag and ask if I played any irons  LOL. I said okay hotshot lets go. He blast one from the back tees and birdies the first hole. I hit a nice 240 yard fade and end up with a double, game over.
I fall short of WRX worthiness but can't stop.

I don't hit it 300 either but I have started Superspeed training to try to rectify that.  But at 47 I may just be trying to stave off getting any shorter.
I promise to buy some stuff sometime.

I have to confess that I am totally ignorant of any of the Mizzuno product lines. I couldn't identify an MP-32 from an MP-156. There seem to be hundreds of them..

I got buttah enough from my W/S tour blades. Like hitting croissants. Went through VIPS, Mac Pro MBs, RAM tour grinds, but never got my hands on some MPs.

I just fail. Every drive slices, never can putt to make par, I probably use my hybrid too often. Oh and I never tuck my shirt in.

Here's how to turn your scenario into WRX winning:

That nasty slice? It's a power fade.

Can't putt? You'd be a zero capper if only you could read greens.

That hybrid? It replaces a 3 wood to help with your club gapping.

And you untuck your shirt because it maximises your turn on the backswing.

Winning!
