Everyone in the Southern California Area that has been to this course I would like some feedback. I won two nights and two rounds of golf. I was wondering what is this place like. Its pretty remote. Any feed back would be great. Thanks.

Wow seeing that name brings back some memories. I used to go there with my family when I was a kid. My parents still go occasionally. I only played there once, many years ago when I didn't really play golf, so I can't really say much about the course. I think I spent a lot of time in the game room shooting pool with other kids. The resort's quite remote (it's a nice scenic drive out though), and very quiet and relaxing. There were no TVs in the guest rooms, as a kid I was never happy about that, but the rooms are quite cozy and nice. If you're into natural hot springs they have an olympic-sized pool full of that hot steaming stuff. Nearby is a town called Julian which is renowned for their apples and apple pies.

I live in Oceanside, and have played Warner Springs several times. The last time I played it was several years ago, when my family stayed there during a sort of "mini-vacation." As you say, it's remote - but the facilities were nice enough, and the course has always been enjoyable to me. Fairly open and fair, from what I remember.

O-side,

I live in Carlsbad but work in downtown on Mission two blocks East of PCH. Where do you play, O-side Muni, Arrowood, Encinitas Ranch? I'm usually playing at ER (men's club stuff).

Back to the subject, never played there driven by it and yes it's REMOTE. Enjoy the mother nature of it.
