The best I've found by far are the Linksoul boardwalk shorts....the name is a bit of a misnomer, they are for golf and the leg widths are tighter than most golf shorts.  I've found the material to be the best wicking.

I agree, these are the best shorts period imho. Great for the course, casual but also look pretty dressy all at the same time if that's possible. Look great and fit and feel real nice.

I love the Puma Lux Shorts - at 6'5", I love the 11" inseam to get to my knees.  Love the feel of the Nike Flat Fronts, but they're just too short for my liking.

I have owned many pairs from adidas, Nike, Puma, Izod and my favorite since finding out about them are Uniqlo's Men's Dry Stretch Active shorts.  I pretty much stopped wearing the other brands and just exclusively wear these now.

If they had more colors, it would be perfect. I have the navy pair. I just wish there was black and grey. I wouldn't wear anything else if that was the case

I have a few pair of these Union cargo shorts that I bought from Nordstrom Rack for like $30.  They're not too long (just as the knee) and they're comfortable.

Just a reminder to all the old folks who want to be stylish  -- you need to update your shorts this year.  Don't be the guy still wearing shorts with humongous leg openings that make your legs look like they're twigs.  That means pretty much tossing any shorts not made in the past 2 years.  Update your style to be much smaller openings that allow very little space between your legs and the fabric.

I'll wear what I want to wear.  I don't need some young whipper snapper with a flat brimmed trucker hat telling me what I should wear to look stylist. ;)

They're a little on the roomy side, but I've had very good luck with the current Greg Norman offerings, usually in the $18-$25/pair range.  UA fit a little better with less excess material, but I don't like paying $45+/pair at the outlets, much less $65+/pair at retail.

If your keeping count it looks like adidas ultimate 365 is highly regarded. I have to agree best shorts out there bar none. I have tried them all and own of pretty much  1 of everything.  Adidas by a landslide.
