First off, I'm not "fat". Technically, I am. But I don't shop at big n talls, yet. I'm fitting into 38's nicely.
I was at my local Nike outlet looking for Tigger's Logan Berry polo. (Found it at $49.99. Beauty.)
I then checked out the golf pants rack. They had standard black DryFit TW with a sewn in seam on the front of the leg (like a pleat). Gross. They also had a pair of Sphere-like pants that clung too much in the claves making my rear look like a ... well... huge.
Then I stumbled on a couple pairs of Nike DryFit Tech pants that were charcoal grey with a lighter grey plaid pattern. The material has some give and the pants look and felt awesome.
I went for it.
Now I have them hanging in my closet and I'm looking to match it with something I already own.
Nadda. I figured a solid black or white would work. But there is something missing.
Am I nuts?
I could take them back but I'm not ready to give up on them yet. If only they had the same pant in solid black.
Any help on matching polo ideas? I guess this goes for all grey/grey plaid (shorts as well). What goes?
A solid vest perhaps?
I really should take a pic to help but I'll hit that later if needed.
Thanks, fellas.

Well, I personally don't like a plain black or white shirt anyway, but especially with plaid. Since you were talking about the grey, the good thing is that grey really does match well to alot of other colors. Look at Aaron Baddely. His look is the grey slacks with a nice bright or solid polo. Try some lighter greens, burgendy, or even something in pinks. Bright red isn't a great match, and certainly nothing brown. Also, try to stay with solids, because plaid and stripes clash.
