Don't know what to say??
They look so un-Epon like.
If you told me these were the lastest cheapo department store set I would believe you.
Hope I'm not out of line. Just my immediate impression.

Where do you order from? Epon dealers or DOA brand has their own?

I don't get folks reactions sometimes. This club is a P3, which  received broadly positive reviews, in a different finish.
Same happened with the AF-501 and RF-551. People trashed the 501 on this forum as no good, then some of very same folks couldn't be more positive about the 551, which was identical but in the dark finish.

I happen to have the original 501 and also the 551.  While the 551 is supposed to be a re-issued of the 501 in a different finish, there are some subtle difference. On 551 does not have any pocket cavity (looks like it does) in the mid irons while 501 does.  I actually like both so not trashing any Epon irons.  Have not play the Ps, but now gaming the 703 with 551 as my spare.

551 does have the pocket cavity in the 4-6 iron.  Just like the 501

I stand corrected sir.  The colour is dark as I never notice the pocket as very apparent.   While I have the 5-p set, the 5 was hardly ever use.  I had the heads for sale at one time but couldNot ssell them for $600 so decide to them and shaft them with Mitshubishi OT85.  It's as good a match as the original Roddio I-6.

It's not that bad, but the cavity looks horrible and cheap. Had they not stamped it with that DOA and polished the cavity with a simple Epon logo, that would be clean. Too bad they cheapened an otherwise decent club head. It's hard to overlook that cavity tho. It would be a deal breaker for me.

I think getting advice from guys who are sitting at the computer in their underwear while taking a break from porn is a very solid way to choose clubs. - bluedot
