Tried the 2016 B330S for the first time yesterday and I was blown away. Had 3 of my longest (un-aided) tee shots which totally surprised me. And the rest of my tee shots were right on par with every other ball I've ever played. The feel off the irons and wedges was superb. Feels like a ProV1x wrapped in a layer of uncooked bacon :-) And to top it off, this so called 'S' ball was very straight with my irons and driver. And when I needed to play a little baby draw, it was just that, a little baby draw. Not one club in my bag lost any distance with this ball. Trajectory was excellent. Need to play it a few more times to make sure I'm not dreaming.

I've played many, many rounds with the 2014 B330 and a few rounds (dozen or so?) each with the 2014 B330S and 2016 B330S. To my limited ability to distinguish small differences, the 2014 B330 and 2016 B330S seem interchangeable.

The only one of the three I thought had any difference to the others was the 2014 B330S would occasionally "suck back" on a full wedge shot, something that almost never happens to me with any ball. Same distance, same trajectory for all three types just that little extra wedge-shot spin on the '14 S model.
Engaged in the eternal search for the elusive Swedish meatball cores...

As great a ball as the 2014 B330S is, it is much more apt to scuff than the 2016 models.  That is the one advantage I see in the 2016 models.

I notice no difference in performance. My driver ss is 114 and didn't see any extra distance with B330. Maybe faster swingers will, but it's definitely firmer. This years B330S is my favorite ball right now.

I bought a few boxes of both and have been switching them in and out the past 4 months.  Iif I didn't look at the logo beforehand I wouldn't be able to tell you which one I just hit.  Best Ball I had played until I tried a sleeve of the TP5x a couple weeks ago...

This really surprises me, because the B330 is considerably harder (than the B330s) on every club, and spins noticeably less around the green and on approach shots - not only in my experience.

I just chipped and putted, and could only tell the difference when I was putting.  Even then, it was a small difference, and I had to be paying attention to notice it.

Didn't notice a difference around the greens with wedges.  I can notice a slight difference in flight on mid and long irons, like the B330 is a bit flatter and doesn't balloon as much as the B330s, though I could just be biased to think the B330 does that.

With the B330 I have to concentrate more on the shot, to get the same stopping power.
However because it has less stopping power, it lands and rolls more predictable in my experience.

The new BXS seems to have a tad more stopping power, than the B330S, but at least as controllable.
I´m keen to try the BX...

...to see, if it is even more controllable, than the Z-Star XV - this ball seems to suit me best at the moment,
but I have to do more testing with the new Bridgestones.
