Got mine in the mail today. Bought the Charleston Green color - seemed appropriate!

A little insight for others buying these polos - I'm 6-2" 195lbs ish. Not super braud shoulders but I'm no pick. I wear a large in adidas, ua, and Nike so I would have normally got a L here but I read to size down, and did.

Great fit when you do so. Far from slim fitting, plenty of room in the armpit and the sleeve isn't super short. Good length to the polo as well. Was very afraid going to a medium would make it too short, but it fits great.

Awesome product. Great weight to the polo too - don't have chest hair poking through and around.

Proper shirt, gentlemen.

Thanks guys! Irish, M should be perfect. Can't wait to hear your thoughts on the polos!

Chilidog,

Great to see and best of luck.

If I am an XL in Linksoul, what do you recommend in your brand?

Thanks, drn92

I ordered two shirts as well.  My hope is this is an upgrade to the Under Armour collection in my closet that is due for some replacements!

Great looking shirts, Chili. I'm going to be ordering one to try as soon as I post this.  Only thing I'd say is the stitched label on the sleeve - just not a fan of that.  The tree logo sewn (probably too expensive) or ironed on the chest or sleeve would be best I think

I received a shirt yesterday. Itt seemed to fit well and be good quality. However, the magnolia color appeared white in the photos online when I ordered, but is a cream color. Wish it was actually white.

For anyone who has ordered a medium polo: Can you please take pit to pit measurements and length from back of collar to bottom of shirt? Really want to buy one but totally unsure of sizing. Thanks in advance!

Just received my Charleston Green size L. Very similar in size to Linksoul coast highway cotton XL with slightly slimmer feel. I'm kind of in between sizes right now, 6'2", 206 and dropping (220 this time last year). Large looks good right now, but could go medium pretty soon.

Love the feel and the color (green, more of a charcoal gray indoors anyway).

Had to postpone the trip I had planned this week, so can't give it a workout, but very optimistic.

Just got mine in today. Order a size smaller. I ordered a XXL and could easily have done XL.

Very nice quality shirt. It's not going to be hot around here anytime soon, so I won't be able to give it a true workout for a while, but I'll be wearing it playing Master's Sunday.

Hey guys, thanks for the feedback. Regarding the sewn on Charleston Green patch on the sleeve, that was actually a really last minute decision before the shirts were shipping as we had a heat seal logo on one and thought it made it look too "sporty" or "techy" instead of classic or luxury. We are still making some decisions on our next run for that.

Regarding colors, if you aren't from Charleston you probably won't understand the color names. The Charleston Green color is the color for black in Charleston that has a green hue to it. Magnolia was born a little out of necessity as you can't get a bright white in recycled poly so we went with the color of a magnolia flower.

What do you guys think about the collars, sleeve length, body length and weight of the fabric (covers chest hair with this knit structure)?

I just got mine in today. I got a size large which fits similar to under armor xl.
Very nice shirt.  My chest hair does poke through a little but that's pretty common on this type of shirt.  I like the sewn on logo on the sleeve.  It looks classy enough to wear to work.  I used to like ashworth shirts for work because they had small sewn on logo on one sleeve.  Then they started stitching on the big golfman logo which made it less appealing for work wear
The only thing I would change is to take off the little water bottle icon on the back below the collar.  I don't think that fits with a classy looking shirt.
Collar looks like it will be great.

Overall- great shirt.  Great price.  You did a fine job with this one.  For sure very nice quality.

Mine came in today, ordered the Blue Heron in XL. First impressions are that this is a wonderful shirt. Feels great, size is excellent(roomy but doesn't feel like a tent). Packaging is probably a little overkill. I hope to wear this to the course later this week for a better idea, but I think it's going to be my "go to" shirt. Definitely will be ordering more colors and hope that some patterns are planned for the future?

This is not a complaint in any way, but the "chest hair effect" is not solved. It is better than any other shirt of this type material that I have owned, but I have to wear an undershirt for everything except fairly thick cotton. Again, not a complaint and not expecting miracles, just letting other hairy folks like me know ahead of time. I really wish I could get the hair on my head to grow that thick

@Charleston Green Apparel: How expensive would it be to make some A shirts in white and/or light gray out of that same material? I'm thinking that would be
an option for us extra hairy folks.

Thanks for the feedback. We asked the question about the water bottle icon that calls out how many water bottles were used to make the shirt in our marketing surveys. We surveyed 281 people over 4 weeks. Only 2 said they wouldn't like it on there, 43 were indifferent and 236 said they wanted it on there. We know we aren't going to appeal to everyone. Thank you for the feedback. Every little bit helps for our next run.

Dang, we thought we had solved this one too. We had roughly 30 guys try this shirt on and even the guys that said they normally experience that effect weren't getting it in this shirt. I'm not a hairy guy, so I don't know the struggle but I know it's real for a lot of guys. We will play with the knit structure a little more on the next run.

Again, it's better than most other shirts of this type material.  I'd be afraid if you make it much thicker, the shirts will be too heavy and less comfortable.  If I'm wearing it on the course I don't worry about it so much, but when I wear it to the office I throw on an undershirt of some kind.

As long as it isn't the Athletic slim cut Footjoy line, I would stay with M as Footjoy is cut a size above most other Brands.

By all accounts, the polos are long. Is the outerwear also long? I bought two polos on amazon and I think I'm going to get the 1/4 zip sweater too from the website but only if it's pretty long.

Well I got my polo in the mail the other day and I am impressed. I usually wear a slim fit large in most brands (golf or otherwise), and the medium fits pretty well.  The sleeves are a good length, not super high up like most slim fashion brands, but not too long and baggy either. If I'm being picky I would prefer a bit more taper, but its certainly not baggy like most other regular fit golf shirts.  The quality is where the shirt really shines though. The stitching/seams are very well made and you can really feel and see the quality. The collar is great, it feels strong, and looks like it will hold its shape well.  While the shirt isn't too lightweight, I still experienced a bit of chest hair effect. One thing I don't like is the logo below the back of the collar. Given the simple stylings of the shirt, the screen printed recycling logo seems very out of place to me. In total I think that this shirt is a very good option for someone looking for a classically styled golf polo that isn't looking for a super slim fit.

If you want a really tapered, trim option I would suggest going down two sizes. I actually wear it that way when I'm not tucking it in and just one size down when I tuck it in.
