These clubs look really sweet, all 3 models look good! Has anyone had a chance to hit these and if so how do they feel compared to CB57's?

I can;t recall who else has the second and third but these are blanks.  I have to admit though, finished to a good level.  Look at the old Top elite spaldings and then MIrai.. no doubt very very similar in looks and grind to the MBs.  Also, careful, the photography at that place is very very good...

The CB & MB look unreal! Their approach to building clubs is kinda cool. Similar to how wheels are done,,, taking a solid forged block and making it to exact specs, positioning CG exactly where it neeeds to be. I would imagine hat their clubs are similar to Miura in terms of feel and club head weight. As happy as I am with my Miuras I would definitely consider adding a set of these but being the price they are it would be hard pulling the trigger without seeing them in hand and as well as hitting them.

I have a set of the Seven X Shinagawa MBs too. Had them about 6 weeks. Love the heads but still trying to find a good shaft to go with them.

I'll say one thing for his CB's... they're milled from a single block of steel which is a really expensive procedure.  I don't get these manufacturers that glue faces on and claim that they're forged clubs.  This club will really have a forged feel to it and you'll know when you've mishit it.  Probably won't be the most forgiving CB's on the market but you'll get a CB that feels like a one piece forged club.

Any way we could get you to post an in hand pic of the iron?  I've been talking with the guys at tourspec and the Sevens come highly recommended.  At about $400/head I would need to try them first before pulling the trigger though.

Wow man, those are beautiful.  They actually remind me a bit of my Scratch Double Muscle.

I'm actually interested in the MCB or CB right now.

I will say these are incredibly forgiving for a blade. Certainly more forgiving than the Callaway X-protos which seem to be the benchmark for forgiveness in blades.

I have these, a set of stock Scratch SB1s and a set of a United SBB Tours (the black ones) and in terms of feel and playability, the Sevens are top of the list, then the United and then the SB1s...

The MBs are Shinigawa.  I really like the look as well.  They will steer you in the seven direction I presume as it is their house brand so most to gain.  That said I am sure they are good sticks, just at a premium.  I think GF does their putters, so he has the right guys making the house brand stuff.  I feel like Mirai has a head that is the same as one as well.  For $400/head I would be inclined to pick up the Modart CBs or Roddio MBs lightly used, but if you have the money I think TS does a fantastic job with making a finish and look that is super appealing.  I do like the Shinigawa blades, great new take on an old design, and again, the finishes if you get the seven ones are really killer, just at a cost.

If you like the MBs, look at the Grindworks MB as well. Not as nicely finished admittedly but a solid head and much better priced.

I had a set of the Shini's and passed them on.  They were fine.  Definitely not in the upper echelon of JDM.  If Chris is getting $400 a head now, he's killing fools.  That's outrageous.  I thought the Shini's were under $200 a head.  He's getting double now?

TSG is fine, but remember Seven is their house brand so they have quite an incentive to talk it up.

He's not charging that much for the Shinegawas.  He's charging 350 per head for his new CB and MCB irons which are 100% milled from a single block of steel, somewhat like Modart does on certain offerings.

Truth.  There's indirect bashing of Itobori now as well.  I think the deal they had with Ito must have fallen through.  There was quite a bit of talk up of Ito and how he will be marketing for Ito.. can;t possibly be the case now and its so typical of him to trash brands he can;t sell.. same with Epon...

Do tell!

Also I thought it was funny that the Ito stuff was super slashed, his prices are reasonable on them now.  God probably still has plenty of mark up....at $900 they are a lot more tempting, but I am really done hoing.  I would like a really dope cb, but I am spending $2k on the mod art as much as I like them in theory.
