How long has he been playing the callaway irons? Thought he was using something different to start the year?

When Nike clubs went under, he switched within a couple of weeks if I remember correctly.

General consensus was he'd return to Titleist, likely in a 716MB - but Callaway made this set for him and I must say they look gorgeous.

I demoed a new Odyssey with the hinge face the other day - puts an amazing amount of soft touch on the ball.

If they released this Rory model, rather than the goofy black/white striped one, they would sell ridiculous amounts.

It's essentially a Scotty M2 w/ the micro-hinge face and Odyssey on it. It even has the single alignment line like his SC did vs. the + shape the commercial version of the M2 had.

Has he been rocking that Tensei Blue in the 3wd all year??  Seems like a relatively new addition.

Also, looks like he switched from the 2017 KK Dual Core 70TX back to the previous years KK 70 XT model

You're correct - with woods he played Taylormade M2 for a brief stint after taking Nike out of the bag. Then ultimately landed w/ Callaway Epic lineup in his bag after further testing/new product releases.

Irons I believe he transitioned straight from Nike VR Pro's to his custom build Callaway MB's

My question is that actually a Tensei CK Pro White....? If you look closely it says "Proto" down the shaft - and I remember the first proto series of the Pro White had blue graphics vs the white shaft band.

I believe he played Rombax in the past in 3 and 5 woods - not sure how recent the Tensei switch was.

He had been playing 90tx blue Tensei in the 3 wood for a few months. And yes I saw he had gone back to the old XT. Could be Dual Core 70tx wasn't spinning enough for him in the SZ head.

It is a blue, but it's tour only 90 gram proto.

Couldn't agree more... why is it so hard for these companies to release a putter with that headshape that doesn't have terrible alignment aids (scotty) or color patters (odyssey).  If Odyssey came out with that putter I would give it a try in a heartbeat.

I wish Odyssey would follow Rory's thoughts and release some Oworks without the versa alignment system. Much cleaner IMO.
