I am into RC everything, and my favorite is WW1 era, period. That is an RC plane, not mine though. I decided to chill on RC and spend the money on golf, but I have some very fast RC cars for dirt (clay) racing.  Ebuggy is a blast, 1/8th scale. Race track is Wingo Ky.

I race cars, play tennis and fondle women. But, I have weekends off and am my own boss.

Reminds me of a radio interview I heard with Robert Plant several years ago. It went something like

"So, Robert what are you doing these days?"

"Well mostly I like to play tennis and fornicate"

He has aged well. Still alive, and still puts on a good performance. And I will bet he adds some good red wine to tennis and fornicating.

I have been tying flies and fly fishing for trout for over 40 years.  For me it as addictive as golf, but I am an accomplished fly fisherman so as a mediocre golfer I spend more time playing and practicing golf with the time I have.

Trout season is close! I'm going to head to NW Jersey in late april. I don't fly fish but I plan on going real small and light and targeting side streams.

As a fly fisherman, how would you deal with small tight streams with a lot of foliage around?

I do a little fly fishing. Used to tie flies but my wife's love of cats supersedes the desire to have dead animal pelts around the house.

I have two kids and they take up a lot of time--a 10 and a 5 year old. After I take them to their activities and spend time with them, I enjoy:

Crossfit/exercising.

FSU football--tailgating in particular--the kids love it. My 5 year old asked for a garnet truck to tailgate for Xmas.

Reading.

Drinking good booze with friends and family---I love finding new rums or whiskeys to share with people.

Shooting the sh*t with anyone who will shoot the sh*t with me.

Hanging out on the beach, doing all the above.

Down here in NZ we have some great parks and hiking, so the wife and I are out in the hills a lot. Hit the beach during summer as well.

I'm a big US sports fan (my dad is American) - trouble is that all prime time sports in the US are on during the middle of the day here with the time difference. So my weekends are a delicate balancing act of playing golf, watching sports and not neglecting my wife. I've been doing a pretty decent job of it for 8 years now, but now she wants to throw a kid into the mix.

Uh-oh aar, you're f'd. Wife neglecting, golf, kids, and sports, are a central theme here. Welcome to the WRX mix. What US sports?

BTW, I used to be a backpacker, and drool when I see documentaries about NZ, must be amazing. I would love to interact with those parrots that steal the blades off your windshield wipers, what are they?
