After watching so many of players wearing the tight fitting base layer I'm thinking of giving it a try. Has anyone had any experience with the tight fit mock and where can they be purchased?? I look on the Nike site and can't find a cold weather style. I'm 100000000000000000% sure the one Tiger is wearing is NIKE.

Thanks

If you want to go the inexpensive route try Wal Mart. They have one that can be had for under $10. It is by "Athletic Works" I belive. JB Holes was wearing them a couple of weeks ago. I also have tried the Under Armour brand. Great quality but more expensive. Honestly, the Wal Mart ones are great for the thinner style, but if you need more warmth and something a little thicker, Under Armour makes a version in "Cold Gear" that is outstanding.

As for Nike, they also make sleeves only as worn by KJ Choi. You can pack the sleeves in your bag and throw them on if you need some arm cover. Great if you don't like th mock neck.

i've tried them and really like them. they really are like a second skin.

these are the exact same ones Tiger was wearing:

they come in a Nike Pro compression box with Tiger's picture on the front.

I own the Under Armor and Nike versions. The Nike fits much better and more comfortable. I think it has to do wit the way the seems are cut.

This time of year I live and die by my Under Armour Cold Weather gear. Great performance and breathable when you are walking and the temp starts to rise a little.

Try the Adidas clima compression. Cheaper than under armour and better for golf in my opinion.

Check out ebay... I was looking for underarmour and stumbled across something called T3K. Simeon Rice(football player) designed it. There is a seller, I believe "masscloesouts" selling the stuff CHEAP. I paid 1.99 plus 5 to ship my last shirt.

i would die without the under armour cold weather running pant under my regular pants....but i can't bring myself to do the tops. sorry folks. i hate that look. that second skin mock under a short sleeve polo looks silly to me. i prefer a nice long sleeve polo and a light-weight sweater. sometimes i add a fleece third layer.

but of course i haven't seen a golf club in a month....so it's hard to remember what i wear.

Just wait it out. We're almost into Spring. Then you can buy all the Nike, Adidias, Under Armour, etc. compression/cold weather gear on SALE. Bust it out next Fall/Winter.

Until then, get some long-sleeve tees one size smaller than your polos, and wear that underneath.

Under Armour long sleeve shirt was the best $50 I've spent on golf clothes. It lets you swing more freely and keeps the heat in. I'm surprised that PGA tour players are only starting to use this stuff now when they've been used by pretty much all high school and college players for years.

I like the Under Armour Cold Gear Mocks the best so far. They are great in colder weather. They are extra long so they don't ride up on you at all. How long are the Nike versions? I would love a lighter weight version of what Under Armour if they were just as long.
