New year and launch of pretty much every new tour ball there is with claims of straighter, longer and more spin. All at WRX love the long ball so my question is this: Whats the ball you got to go the furthest off the tee? Dont consider feel or green side spin or anything but pure raw power with the driver.

Got my hands on some top-flite LD balls a few years back and they would roll for what felt like miles. Z-balata just felt like it got stuck in the clouds when hitting with the wind. Neither ball was worth it around the greens but just distance, thats where I'd end up

Kirkland Signatures....... on a perfect strike 10-20 yards longer than V1X or XV...  probably happens once or twice a round for me as a 10 capper.  Better players could see it on almost every hole.

If forced to guess I'd probably say ProV1x.

But I could name half a dozen balls that are in the same 5-yard or so bucket when it comes to driver distance: ProV1x, ProvV1, Chrome Soft, B330, B330S, FG Tour, probably a couple others I can't remember. None of those is more than a couple of yards different than the others.

I will say a Lethal is shorter than any of those and a Nike RZN 20XI-X is shorter than the Lethal. So there aren't any "longer" golf balls for my game but there do seem to be some that are "shorter".

I'm so sorry to do this guys but I actually, honestly believe that the KSig was the best ball off the tee that I've ever played lol. I didn't love it inside the final 30 yards but for covering the initial 300 there's nothing like it imo.

As an old fart the Maxfli Softfli goes farther than other ball I have tried.  20 years ago probably the Top-Flite XL or Pinnacle Gold.

Pinnacle Rush is only one ball that I can ever recall being "long" and that's because I was routinely flying greens on regular approach shots and that's not really I problem I've ever had (same irons for 10 yrs = I know my distances).  Great cold weather ball too.

The longest I ever drove a ball was back in 1993 in Greeley, Colorado at a company golf tournament (on the long drive hole). I was gaming a 1954 MacGregor M85W driver (S-300 shaft) and a Titleist Tour Balata 100 compression ball. Straight par 5, slightly downhill and down wind (~5-8 mph).  Drive was measured out at 398 yards. Have to love altitude golf and a wind at your back.

Maxfli U6 tour soft. It was a hot dry week in PA so the fairways were a tad hard and dry . Put everything I had (I'm 5'6 170) into my Aero mini driver, got 287 with the roll. Haven't gotten within 30 yards of that ever again.

Does this mean the longest individual specific shot we've ever hit?

If so that's whatever brand of ball I was playing on vacation in England back in 2006. Maybe an NXT Tour?

Hit a tee shot down a steep hill with a following wind gusting to 30+ mph on a baked out chalk-based course during a drought. It rolled far, far beyond the green on a 340-yard Par 4 and for all I know is still rolling. When I lost sight of it that ball had been rolling for a couple hundred yards and I swear was still picking up speed. I had hit a 5-iron hoping to keep it in play...as if!

Are you seriously telling me that if I switched from the B330 to KSigs I would no question gain 10-20 yards off the tee? Just when I thought the KSig discussion couldn't get any more ridiculous.

If you're talking premium balls rather than rock-like 2 piece, then it's without a doubt the Nike RZN Tour Black. For me it is longer than anything else by 7-8 yards off the driver, and that includes the 2017 Z Star XV.

Was thinking more along the lines of what ball you could just grab out of the bag and instantly add some yards, but always fun to hear stories of monster drives in crazy conditions.

I believe it was a Nike Distance or a Precept Distance 1990s

Livin' proof that Lefties are not naturally talented.
