Similar thing happened with Gabriel Writer and Kelvin Miyahira, had a membership site that was abruptly stopped. Don't know the relationship on the backend but it looks like Gabriel and Fish have worked together, and regardless this is 2 membership sites that have gone sideways with their fingerprints on it.

Shame because the instructors have some great information but they (and their fans) are getting burned by this.

I'm really confused by all this.

He says he has no input or control yet all his videos are on there.

Lack of control was probably the issue.  He could make the videos, but perhaps whoever administered the site was responsible for how the site looked, pricing, cancellation policies, etc.

Having experienced it and studied it quite a bit, expansion is the most difficult thing a business can do.  Even if you have the consumers for expansion...if you expand too much or too soon or don't expand enough or too late, it can destroy a business.  And there's no textbook way to expand that will work for everybody.

I did not see any info on the Profile section other than my name, email and password.  So I emailed support at gg swing tips to cancel effective immediately and informed that no future charges are authorized.  If they are a legitimate, law abiding business, that should be sufficient.

I sent a request to support my desire to cancel my monthly membership.  I just received a message from Paypal that it was canceled.

Judging by that Fish dudes Instagram I am guessing this would just be one of many failed ventures

I doubt any subscribers pony up the lawyer fees at $300 per hour to sue over $500.

Kelvin had no affiliation with Gabe's site. Gabe got some crowdfunding to fly to Hawaii to do some lessons with Kelvin. The membership site is still up but no new content has been added for a long time.

Yeah everyone threatens to sue... Very few people actually have the means to do so or are willing to put in the effort.

As someone who has done it before I agree.  Cost me over $4000 to collect $600 (not related to this) as I had to fly to Washington to file suit.   I didn't care, it was the principle.   It was easier when I was single, my wife doesn't like my principle crusades even though I promised her a trip to wine country for this one.  lol

Did you ever actually get the $600?

That's another thing - lets just assume all these people sue GG Swingtips or this Fish cat and win. Do those people actually have the ability to pay?

I sent an email yesterday requesting a refund for the platinum package I purchased in December. They replied quickly that they understood my stance and that they would soon have a statement about the situation I just received notification from PayPal that they fully refunded my money.

If this Fish character had anything to do with production of this dope gem it’s no wonder Geo got hypnotized......
