Does anyone play these shafts. Looks like they were a made for shaft for callaway. I found one sound clip from kbs which states they were a lower launching light weight shaft because of the thicker diameter.

I've bought some apex cf16 which have them installed and although I will hit them at the weekend I was wondering if anyone had some info on them

I have a 52* wedge with one installed. The rest of my set are kbs 110. Feels a little light to me. Ball flight was a little higher than same club with a 110, which leads me to believe it plays a little weaker flex than stiff. Of course that is my swing and my opinion. Givem a little range time you just may like them. I played s300's or a similar model from TT for years (memphis 10 stiff, apex 3/4 etc) and I never believed id switch until my Apex came with kbs and now I'll never change. Ive even thought about getting the same shafts installed in a set of Apex II's i have lying around with mismatched shafts.

Thanks for the reply. Yeah I'll give them some range time and playing next Friday. I played dg s300 for years and just moved to modus tour 120s, love the smooth feel of the nippons. I tend to hit the ball high so I'm a little worried about that with the tour v 90s

Bumping this for any other comments about the KBS Tour V 90's.  I'm eyeballing a set of XR Pro's with this shaft, but info/comments about it are pretty scarce since it is apparently a proprietary (to Callaway) shaft.

Bumping this to see if anyone is gaming this shaft and how they liked it.  Hit this the other day on a whim with a Steelhead head (playing around with some different head/shaft combos at my club) and wow!  Performed great for me.
