What is the difference between the different versions? It looks like the standard driver is $688 while there is a $4,188 version. What is the difference???

Honma has a 1-5 star system for their shaft options. The more stars, the more expensive.

Also the amount of gold plating.  Some have more gold.

A local brick and mortar store had been carrying the Beres line and I exam the drivers in person.
Nice and pretty, but not my personal thing.   First it felt just like any other golf club except for the gold and the "show and tell" part.  The second thing I noticed was how flexible the shaft is.  They did not have Stiff flex in that store but the L flex and the R flex were so whippy , it's unbelievable that they won't break under a golf swing.

Plus there was the XXIO driver next to the Beres.  I guess if the golf club makes one more confident standing over a tee shot, then it'll be worth the extra $.
