So, nothing in the 80 gram range for the fairways, or is this a driver option list only?

What is the story with the Project X HZRDUS T800 Green 65??  Is this supposed to be a reasonably priced T1100?  Does anyone know the specs on this vs. a HZRDUS Black 6.5?  I love my Black 6.5 in the XR SZ Head.

Im doing a fitting with Callaway staff here in Phoenix, AZ at the Legacy Performance center for the Epics on 01/14, so Ill wait to order after that.

Let's hope they have something.  Right now on the site the only UPCHARGE 80 gram shafts in x-flex are D+, and Ahina.  Come on boys!

I read somewhere on here that they tried the T800 and was a pretty solid shaft!

My 2 favourites I tested were the black tie and D+ Lacey.  I spent more time with those.

I know I hit the hzrdus yellow,  and believe one of the rogues too.  There were others.  But some I took like two swings and hated

I will.  Im going to bring my SZ/HZRDUS and hit it next to the Epic and Epic SZ with some stock and upcharge shafts, and probably even put my HZRDUS into a head and see what numbers I get.  If they are good, Ill just order a stock shaft with it, and sell the shaft on the BST to someone who wants to tinker.

That is my plan as well. I am going to throw a Cally Tip on my Tensei Pro Blue 70TX and because I know my distances with the AD GP 7x in the Cobra better, use that for my baseline. I know it's not an option to get the Tensei Pro in Cally as an upcharge (talked to Mile's and they will not have it available in the Cally heads) so hopefully the AD GP or the Tensei Pro give me optimal results. Then I can order with a stock shaft and sell it to hopefully recoup a little of the cost.

Really probably a stupid question, but what stock shaft would line up close to an AD DI 6s and/or AD Di 7s shaft (yes, I am aware that these are two different shafts, and thus, two different questions). Much appreciated for any feedback from the guys who have tried these "stock" offering shafts before!

Some decent shaft offerings there but could be better. Wish that Black Tie was the 7m3 but I know that's impossible.

I have no clue the difference between the three Aldila Rogues in the 70g category. Anyone know how they play?

Very disappointing.  Very few true aftermarket options in there.  Many made for Callaway offerings.  I LOVE Callaway, but they continue to miss the mark on stock shaft or even upgrade shaft offerings.  I don't want a neon green made-for HZRDUS or Diamana "Greenboard."  Even the Tour Blue/Green options don't specify weight.

The whole list is a fail IMO.  Talk about a weak selection.  No 80g shafts, no 70g shafts for the ones in 60 or 50.  I'm sure some of these are only available as Reg and Stiff or just Stiff too so anyone who wants an X flex of some shaft is going to be SOL.  I love Callaway clubs but the shaft selections for their woods are terrible.  If a shaft comes in different weights and flexes, allow them all to be options, even if it's a long lead time to get it in stock.

I'm in that X flex category as well and it may be tough finding a good option. I already have a shaft I love but it's a big price tag to purchase a new driver and have to flip the shaft that you order with it.

I think we just copied each other's posts using different words.

Ha.  Yeah.  You were faster on the keyboard though.

I just don't get it.  TM, Titleist and Cobra all have a good selection of no upcharge and upcharge shafts in all flexes.  How does Callaway ALWAYS have a limited selection of everything?  It's not like they are some tiny player in the game.  And they aren't Ping who have companies make proprietary shafts.  I feel like shafts are an afterthought for them.  Like they put all their effort into engineering the head then go "oh crap!  We need a shaft for it!  Screw it, we'll just use these we have sitting in the corner."  It's a gross exaggeration, I know, but they are definitely still painting proprietary shafts like the aftermarket version a la circa 2000 clubs.  For a $500 driver, I expect to have more of a choice.

The Rogues and the D+ 70 are fine for me if they come in X, and I have a few shafts at home, like my gamer, but I'm losing the excitement for this club.

Always been a fan of Aldila shafts, will be interested to see if I like the Rogue MAX.  The 75 gram version on Titleist's fitting chart is REALLY low launch.  But the torque even in the X-flex is above 3.0 which concerns me.  I tend to like shafts that have lower torque than that.  Reviews seem to be mixed.

BTW, Titleist doesn't even have an 85 gram version of the MAX so I doubt that is going to be an option.

So nothing available in the 80g range for drivers? That's a shame.

Has anyone tried the Fuji Pro offering here (62 or 72 green)?  I absolutely LOVE the Fuji Pro 73X in my current GBB and fairways, and the 62/72 green specs on Fuji's site look pretty legit, and similar to the 63/73 models, so they look like true aftermarket products based on other proven models... Any of the guys on the trip play with the fuji pro green 62 or 72?

Do we know that the HZRDUS T800 is a made for?  I know I hit the Speeder 765 and my 757 side by side and they really weren't comparable.

Standard version is T1100 and very expensive.  Name any other place you can get a T800 version other than in a Epic driver.  It's watered down and less expensive - rightfully so - and only available thru Callaway.
