Hi Happy New Years!

Am Deciding between the two different clubs for a 9 wood..(i have a moderate swing speed for an old guy  ~98 for driver)  so am looking at SR flex...was wondering if any one has any experience or input to help decide which JDM 9 wood to get.

from what i understand these 9w clubs are made of steel as opposed to titanuim.

Distance, forgiveness and feel are what im looking for feedback.

Any other thoughts and ideas much appreciated !  Thanks!

Hi Stan.

I gamed the original Egg 9w (22*) with a Diamana Blueboard 83, and I thought it was awesome. Set up square at address. Very very long from the tee or deck and as forgiving as any other. I sold it because it was just as long as my 5w which I preferred the sound/look of. Thinking about it, it was a stupid thing to do. These are relatively cheap to buy on the used Japanese market so you should get your money back if you don't like the sound.
I'm thinking of getting the 7w version.

Ian.

Egg 9W is a great club, sits beautifully square and penetrating flight which is unusual for such a high lofted wood.
