Here is a list of excuses i will use when you see my unimpressive LM numbers with driver

1) Arm fell asleep on flight
2) Wind was in the face all day
3) Going from the east coast to west coast you lose yards due to time zone
4) My carry distances were in meters due to being Canadian
5) Stop being a "hater" bro  (not necessarily applicable, but will just write that)

Three pages and they aren't even there yet.  I remember reading all the posts when the first group went back to Callaway(The dscvrr group).  What a blast that was.  Some of the best I've read on this site.

I too offer my sincere thanks to Callaway and GolfWRX for this wonderful opportunity. You could have knocked me over with a very small feather when I was asked if I wanted to go. This will be my first golf trip.

I started playing at 50 and am now 61. Never in my wildest dreams did I think I would have an opportunity like this. I'm still a bit in a state of shock.

Well Deserved....nuff said!! Enjoy!!

Can someone ask them what the "R" and dots* on the hosels of their superb Callayway forged prototype irons meant? I've heard lots of different reasons, from headweights, to clubhead lies, to conforming/non-conforming grooves. I'd like to hear the definitive answer from the horse's mouth.

This post almost made me misty eyed, lmao

Started playing at 50, now 61 and your first golf trip. Genuine surprise and happiness.

Bro, the only thing that would make me happier than you goin on this friggin trip is if Maddie called me right now, told me that she was pregnant, we were having a Boi and she wants to name him RP Jacobs III, lol

Talk about never in my wildest dreams, LMAO

Seriously though, I'm happy that you're gonna get to hit the ball in December in warm sunny weather!!

Not sure what the dots mean but I heard the R stands for Roger Cleveland who designed the wedges. Not sure if that's definitive or not though.

Disregard that. I misread. You said irons. Not wedges

Epic!!!!

As much as I'm intrigued about the new drivers... Thus trip has got to be equally about the experience and the wonderful folks at Callaway.

Have a wonderful time, and we will all be watching - and - being jealous!

Have an awesome trip!

The people you will meet are first class all the way!

I've had the pleasure of meeting a handful of the team at Carlsbad on a couple of occasions and always came away the better for it!

Anyone who's been got any good suggestions for stuff to do in Carlsbad? I'm going a day early due to real or imagined potential weather

So far my plans for Saturday are to just download the app for both Tinder AND grinder and just see what happens
Carlsbad Village is walkable with great restaurants and the beach is close too.  Good Bar up the coast a bit called the Compass!!

Dscvrr knows first hand how comfortable the chairs are! Could almost take a nap in them....

Have fun guys, it will be one of the best times of your golfing lives!
