Does anyone have experience using this accessory and is it worth the extra expense?
I'll be using it on the 3.5+ with a SM three5. I can't say I have a particular issue with the bag rotating on it but I'm just wondering if it would be much more secure with it on?

It would, my wife has one. If you use a C-130 you'll need the tour extender sets to make it more secure and upright. The cozy will not help if you want to go to a c-130.  But for the cozy it takes up some extra space and allows for the bag to sit in there more secure. So for your sm35 bag it will work

For my stand bag I felt it didn't do anything but made it a little harder to fold the cart. I returned it.

I went for it in the end, also purchased the booster clip for good measure.
Should hopefully arrive in the next couple of days.

I've got one and it fits perfectly with my bag to stop it from twisting and turning on the cart. The velcro material is good for attaching your glove too

I use it (clicgear 3.0) w/ SM 4.5 and it definitely helps keep the bag from rotating around.

Haven't noticed any issues folding the cart with it but you have to be careful installing it or it can get in the way of the clicgear umbrella velcro strap.

Interesting, I hadn't thought of that.  I might give it a try next season.

I haven't used my clicgear a ton but have never had an issue with the normal strap and a titleist or sun mountain carry bag.  The reviews are mixed on this via the clicgear site.  Not something on my wish list

I've had great success with both...only downside is you have to remove the booster to hang your clicgear on the wall

Essential for Clicgear users with Sun Mountain or Titleist Stadry stand bags.

It's only (commercial solution) I've found (ok, you can also use a few rags and bits of foam) of properly mounting the bay on a clicgear. Cart still folds ok.

This thing is so useful that I went to the trouble and expense of importing three to Germany (where its not available) for a total cost of >$40 per piece - the thing probably has a material value of $3, but I hate my bag rolling over on the side and I don't want to restrict myself to a cart bag.

I use it and it works great once you adjust it to your bag. I like that it also pushes the bag to sit a little more upright. I would suggest it but will it say it's a needed option.

It's only worth the extra expense if you play on a hilly course. My stand bags only slide a bit on my Cligear when I'm having to push it at an angle on a slope. Given that my course is very hilly, I'm pretty glad that i picked one up.

I have a clicgear 8.0 and a sun mountain four 5. I was very frustrated with the combo until I got my cozy. I would say for the cost it's a no brainer.

I've used it for a fair few rounds now and I'm very pleased I went for it.
It has definitely increased the stability of the bag, I think it has also put the bag in a slightly better position on the cart(higher and more upright).
One of the additional benefits which I didn't really think about but I am pleased with is that it will also stop any rubbing on the bag legs on the cart.

Bought this to use with my Ping L8 bag and it didn't work well at all, the bag still twisted sideways while navigating side hills. I believe this was mostly due to the design of the top of the Ping stand mechanism.  The Cozy comes with 3 pads to help hold the bag in place, one in the middle and two on the outside of each leg.  The L8 design did not allow for room to accommodate the middle pad, I had better luck with my L8 using a rolled up towel (wrapped in duct tape) as the legs and mechanism molded into the towel and held it pretty secure.  Looking at pictures of the Sun Mountain bags it appears as though the stand mechanism would be better suited with the Cozy.  I'll keep using my SM Sync when I push, I had hoped to use the L8 for a lighter push and to end the hassle of changing out clubs for a easier carry to the driving range.  Will probably drop the $$ for a SM waterproof eventually.

I bought one once, but had to return. The stand legs on my bag were wider than what the cozy would fit. Basically, it's a piece of velcro that the knuckles attach to, and the legs of my Titleist stand bag basically sat at the very edge, so the 3 knuckles did nothing to hold in place.

Not sure if I was using it wrong, but felt I'd let you know... YMMV

I think you could've put the Velcro pieces in between the stands and it would've still helped..though, not as good as the outside

Yeah you're right. I think I did that but wasn't thrilled about the stability. Felt like it didn't offer any better hold on the bag than without.

I have one on my CG 3.5 with Titleist stand bag.  Works great and once on, have not touched it.  Bag no longer twist.

I stand corrected and amend my first response.  I used two pads and placed them on the middle of the velcro so the legs sit outside of and tight against the pads.  The bag is locked in, did not twist on side hills with no need to use the third pad.  Very happy with the purchase.

Bumping this topic as looking to buy a 3.5+ if it will work with a SM 4.5 carry bag. Some mixed responses here to date, but is the general consensus that the cozy and booster combo may work with that bag?

Interested in this as well. I bought a SM 5.5 at the end of the season. Haven’t used it on my Clicgear yet but wondering what accessories are good for this SM + Clicgear combo. Thanks!
