Hey buddy,

I'm from Stoneham (Quebec's area) and play usually here, in Stoneham (2 x 18 holes). I'm a little bit older (almost 40 :blush2:)

Nice to know that I'm not a lonely "alien" here :D

I grew up and lived in Quebec city for 27 years, does that count? I'm 37 now. Still have family up there. I live in South Forida now and play wherever and whenever I want!

Merlin, nice avatar, those guys crack me up! The hockey one is a classic for sure....

Hahahahhahaha I'd rather be shovelling some golf balls with some G.I. irons than to take care of all the snow outside... So far we've had a lot of snow this year... I think we had over 350 cm, that's a lot!

can't wait to play golf again!

Hey guys, time to revive that thread!!
I'm 29, from Sherbrooke. I'm a member at the Golf de Waterville. A nice little 9 holes. So that makes 4 from Quebec (Florida is a foreign Quebec territory, no??) I bet there are a few others.

just saw this thread. I guess i missed it back in February.

So, I am over 40; been golfing since I was a teenager ( long before Tiger was even born)

I live in the West Island of Montreal and I golf at Summerlea, a 36 hole course that is less than 15 km from my house.

GolfWrx is great; particulary to get a golf fix during all those months here when there is snow on the ground and the golf courses are closed.

OK, TIME TO HAVE THE BABY!

So, it took me nine months to find this segment of Golfwrx. Like many girls getting pregnant, it was an accident. LOL

I remember replying to "parpar41" last season urging him to "get his b.. (bag) to the INTERNATIONAL 2000, in St-Bernard de Lacolle. We've been open since March 14, 2009 and, I've been playing almost every day since. I'm 64 and, walking 27-36 holes when I go to the course by myself.

It is a 27 holes par 72 with a 129-132 slope, depending on which 2x9 holes you play. It certainly is no Mickey Mouse.

We are the first to open and the last to close in the province. Last season, I played my last 9 holes on Dec 18 @ -20°C with 15-20 km winds.

My name is Jackson and, I expect to see some of you soon... :hi:

mdgboxx:I always go to Saint-Bernad-de-Lacolle to open the season... Or to close it! Played there on the 6th of January in 2006... good times!!!

parpar41: Summerlea is a very nice course, played there ounce, before the hosted the Women Canadian Open a few years back... i think it was 2001 or 2002

Honest mistake; You played Jan 6, 2007. I played my last 36 holes on Jan 9, 2007 ending the 2006 season.

:clapping: :yahoo:
