Does general equipment include belts? I think so.....

So my wife laughed at me today when I bought this Puma bad a** golf white belt. It really is sick, but she is not so amused. She even pocked a few jokes wondering if I have changed my sexual orientation.

I just said you just wait until Valentines day :partytime2:

So how many of you put on the white belt? Would you never wear a white belt and why? Does it mean that you have to bring your A game. I mean if you drop 67 on the boys, who is going to care what you are wearing.

I have a couple White Belts.

I think there is no better look than black slacks, black shirt and a white belt.

For some reason it just seems to look intimidating.

Intimidating? Really??? With that outfit it sounds more like you are at a Village People audition than a golf course.

I played a guy in the club matchplay who came to the first tee dressed exactly as you described. Even the referee for our match couldn't stop laughing at the guy. Christ, I was lucky I was able to find the fairway with my shot from the tee on the 1st and 2nd holes considering how hard I was trying not to laugh.

I'm 20 and I wear white belts. I have a Puma, J.L. and Express one. I think it looks better than those belts with the medallions all the way around them like you see so many golfers wearing. Also, alot of the kids at my college who are into skating and extreme sports wear white belts alot and some of the are pretty bad a**. My gf likes my white belts so maybe its time to do a little shopping for a new wife....Haha. JK!

ive got a white J.Lindeberg that i dont wear all the often anymore (not that i dont like it, i just like my black j.lindeberg more, lol!)... as soon as i bought it my dad ran out and bought a Ben sherman all white belt with a british flag for a belt buckle. it was kind of a worn looking leather and looked ridiculous to say the least. my step mom couldnt stop laughing and said something to the effect of they shouldnt make those longer than 38 inches. at least she didnt have to golf with him that day...

whered you buy your puma belt? I dont know if those ebay ones are real. I wear a ton of khacki so white belts are out of the equation with my current style. I don't have anything wrong with it if your not wearing brown. I want a brown puma belt with a nice shiny buckle.

I have a J.L white belt. My wife loves it. I actually like wearing it with black shorts and a black and white shirt and black and white golf shoes...for the guy that laughed at the guy on the first tee box...it's who beats who on the 18th green that gets the last laugh.

White belts are so common now that you shouldn't feel weird about it.
Just because something is fashionable doesn't mean it's stylish

could someone offer examples of what looks best with a white belt?

Also, this opens up another question: White pants?

I've been told usually white belts and pants are better for thinner players, but i'd like some opinion on it.

Thanks.

I do the white belt thing...I bought the Puma, and liked the look, but it just didn't fit right. I ended up selling it on here and buying the Adidas Trophy white belt--it's AWESOME!!!

White belts are awesome. I don't think you should do the white belt and black shirt/pants thing if you're chunky at all. It just brings attention to your middle.

Isn't it men standard issue that your belt is supposed to match your shoes? ;) I think white belts are fine.

What else would you wear with a pink polo and white golf shoes? A white belt of course - and a pair of lavender golf slacks.

I would love to play just like that but some of the hillbilly paradise courses I play at just wouldn't allow me to do this.

I bought the Puma one from a member on here about a month ago. That belt is the sweetest belt ever!! :D I've wear it with almost everything. I have one pair of black pants and the rest include a myriad of different color/styles. The white belt goes with it all!!

I wear a white belt from time to time. Also, have a couple pairs of white pants and a pair of light blue as well. It's what the Euros wear so why not, they look pretty cool.

I've got a white belt. It looks good with black shorts and some white shoes. Nothing wrong with dressing good while you play good.

Does anyone know where I can find a brown and white two-tone leather belt to match my white and brown shoes?

Mainly medium brown, with a white stripe in the middle:

brown
white <----white
brown

WOW I really must admit i am a bit surprised at how many homophobic comments have been presented over a non-chromatic clothing option. White belts/shoes, black pants/shorts with light colored shirts has been a fashion "yes" for the higher class male for well over sixty years. Perhaps that is the key... the "Higher Class" moniker allows one to separate sexuality from style. Oh, and please for the love of god, white belts are natural for DARK PANTS, please leave the flashy fads to the teenagers....and buy quality for god sakes... people are looking!!!

She'll stop laughing when you backhand her.

When she stops crying, send her into the kitchen. Those dishes aren't going to wash themselves.
