Not for me, i like the difference in style, but just not the colors I would choose.

Oh, I think these just came out to replace the old GTX which everybody who could find a pair raves about.

The Swing GTX is not where near as flashy as these - limited edition Concorde GTX

For comparison, these are the old PG GTX.

Can't find any more pics of the new Swing GTX. Anyone with pics from the show?

Big Puma golfshoe fan here (have three pairs), but... Not sure about these. The black ones look good [in the pictures], but I'm not sure about the white ones. They look a bit "orthopedic." Maybe they'll look better in person.

If I told you the Swing GTX would be available in a silver-chrome color this spring, would it be flashy enough for you?

I'm quite new to the site, and mostly I just lurk around, but by coincidence I received my pair of black and white swing GTX today. Bear with me and I'll give you my opinion . I think that they look cool enough, kind of 50's style but not too flashy like to golf concords. They're very light, rubber coated fiberglass soles and light weight insoles. The soles are very stiff, I'm switching from JL classics and notice a huge difference. Mostly though I'm impressed by the new quill soft spikes, dozens of them. They grip like the old metal spikes and don't leave a trace on the greens. Plus they're permanent, so you never have to sit around changing them. The spikes have a two year warranty against wear, I called puma canada before I bought them, "... any noticeable wear to your displeasure and we'll replace the shoes." The spikes are all arranged at angle's to provide grip concurrent with a golf swing, not straight up and down like metal spike. I'm enjoying mine, highly recommended.

I tried on a pair at Proline in Chicago... & ended up with all 3 colorways (shoe ho) - at least they gave the addict a deal for the madness.

Are these comfortable? How do they compare to the Tour 360s, Eccos, and FJ Classics?

the shoes aren't wide - I fit into same size as I do the 360 Ltd. Different than the Adidas in fit though, not as mushy for lack of a better word -comfy, yet firm...shoe fits like a slipper, outsole is real stable.
Both shoes are as sick as golf can get. Next up Black 360 Ltd with white stripes (ho...)

I got hold of a pair of the prototypes from Germany in Jan. They're a snug fit width wise Clinton. But if they're anything like the PG GTXs they'll stretch out.

The Concorde GTX are the most comfortable shoes I have owned and probably the most waterproof. I have the swing gtx on order - can't wait.

How is the traction with the new spikes? Also, can you walk on hard surfaces with the spikes? I'm thinking about these...let's hope the size 14 fits!

If I am a size 11 in the us what would that be in puma shoes? Also anymore reviews on these, I am liking the idea of not having to change spikes.

What's the deal with the Smart Quills? Do they wear and then you just have to get another pair or do you replace them?
