I love the 4 iron in this set.  I use it as a driving iron off the tee and usually get between 230-255.  I have a MP H5 2 iron and I can't hit it within 20 yards of the 900 forged 4 iron.  I would love Mizuno to add a 3 iron to this set.  The 4 iron has 21 degrees of loft so a 3 iron at 18 would be a perfect addition to the set. For me the thin face/boron jpx line hits farther and feels better than the hollow body MP H5 - FliHi lines.  Anyone else have these same results?

I have the MP-H4 2 iron and although its a great club, I would agree that the JPX 900 forged 4-iron can get pretty close in distance to it.  I know they have the new Flihi irons for long irons to try.  I wouldn't mind seeing a JPX 2 iron (or now strong 3 iron) with 18 degrees of loft.

I don't want a super wide sole or protruding back on my irons.  I think the boron technology in the JPX line can make a 2 iron look thin and player like while keeping distance and forgiveness up.  Hopefully Vosh is reading this.

I disliked the H5; it just felt horrible and wasn't very long. For rid of it within a week.

Lastly, the H5 was not forged which disabled the ability to bend the lie and loft to fit with my iron set.

A 2 iron should be hot off the face.  The H5 is not hot or long.

Awesome to hear.  I just reshafted mine cause I don't think I was fit with the right shafts...but the club feels great and looks great.

I have a set of mint Ping S55s that sit in a bag in my golf room.  After a practice session with my 900 forged I will grab a Ping and hit a few shots. Amazing how much better the Mizunos feel and sound at impact and they look just as good at address.  The P-8 are almost identical in looks imo.  Truly a perfect club for those who want the look and feel of a players forged iron with a ton of forgiveness and distance built in.  I also still love my 900 forged.

I picked up the 4 and 5 fli hi for giggles.  Thinking about filling in a 6-PW set with these.

Funny, when these came out I totally wrote them off because I assumed they would look like the 850 Forged, which they don't.  Seem to setup more like the recent MP line formula.

Would love to hear if your new fli hi clubs fit in bag well with 900 forged.  Also, how long are they compared  to 900 forged?  I have thought about buying an 18 degree fli hi to finish off my bag for this year.

I rolled with the 4-5-6 fli-hi, and 7-P 900F at the sim today, also played that combo for 2 rounds last season, was great.

I just get a bit more launch and spin with the LZ shafts in my MP18's with the MMC and MB.

The 900F is one heck of a back up set to have. I am not worried about the new JPX line coming this fall, so should be set on irons until at least the next MP release in Fall of 2019.

Mizuno's JPX 900 line last Fall, and MP18 line this Fall, are just flat knocked out of the park.

Excited to see new JPX line this August.  Not sure what could do to improve on the 900 series though.  Maybe improve spin on 900 forged long irons?

I was fit for the JPX 900 forged, and was amazed with the 4 iron at the fitting.  So long and accurate.  Unfortunately I didnt get in my set, b/c I had just shafted a Srixon U45 I wanted to give an honest chance to.

I've since moved on from the JPX 900 forged, I originally told the fitter that I didnt even want to try the C Taper 130's, as I didnt get along with them despite the shaft optimizer saying they were the best choice.  After hitting everything and pretty close to deciding on one, he talked me into trying that.  It was easily the best shaft option of the day, and i went with it.

Most days it was great, but what I have always struggled with that shaft came up.  Just replaced them at the end of the season, but if the 3/4 iron in my new set (baby blades) dont work out, I think I'm going to pick up the 4 iron as a utility.  Its as long as any that I've hit, feels better and for me seemed during the limited time of my fitting more forgiving.
