But if Epon doesn't have to send out for them to be made like their customers then it should be cheaper to run but noooo just means more profits lol......ya Im a little $$ butt hurt as I'd love to try these as I play the 302s and these might fit me nicely!

PXG was first in line that I wanted to try but not anymore...

That doesn't mean it costs less to make it. It means that they do not have a strict budgetary guideline to build it under. Ie Srixon goes to Endo and says here is the 545/745/945 and 565/765/965 heads- we need you to make X of each model and at X price.

I just ordered a set 4-PW with Nippon Modus 125x. I've been eyeing Epon for a while, and these outperformed my iBlades and felt soooo soft

Have had 2 range sessions with them.  Bangvoo stiff straight in.  This is a niche head by epon.  Fortunately they hit my niche dead on.  These are for the decent ball striker who wants more distance.  7-10 cappers.  They can be played and enjoyed by the scratch golfer I imagine but they don't feel like a blade or a forged cb.  Much more solid feeling then the 503 bit I could see guys with high swing speeds having problems controlling distance.

I like them a lot!  Very high launch and very hot face.  As long or longer than my 703s bit in a much smaller package.  Great out of the rough and very forgiving for what they are.  I'd say they are the original 400 series.

Forgot about letting you borrow my 302's for a week.  Really curious to hear how these feel, hope that cavity isn't like the 503 which feels and sounds terrible.  Hope your seasons going well, let's get a round or two in before snow.

From what you're saying, these are longer than the 302's?

**EDIT** I built mine with the same shafts, same lengths, and same swing weight and after one round I can say these are not longer than the 302's but they were higher launching for anyone interested

What I heard Joe Kwok involves in Endo latest offering as consultant. Kwoked grind on those new wedges? Any review on new personal compare to 302?

Personal are longer and higher launching than the 302s

Feel being subjective feels like an Epon iron (very soft) no click

The grind and sole width work better for than the 302s and the black finish is the best black on the market. No chipping or peeling

great setup good luck with them...curious to know from those that have tried...Af503 vs 303?  I've hit them both-like them both-will order one soon...better ball speed in the 503 and longer (same lofts).  303 might be alittle cleaner looking, slightly less forgiving too.  I'm coming off a season with TMB-PXG-and mostly TM m2 Tours ....i hear people saying the 503 is clicky, i dont get that at all...noting like the Callaway CF16 in terms of clicky.

There is absolutely no way the Epon finish is better than PXG's darkness finish !  : )

Finally had a chance to hit them.  Beautiful club.  It does the black in a way that blows the PXG out of the water in style.  The ones I hit were newer so there was no peeling to see.  The finish is so damn sexy.

Way too hot for me.  Very 5 series in distance but 3+ series in girth.  I think they would be the perfect set for a 10 hdcp who needs more distance with irons.  Personally, I want consistency in my irons.  I want my 7 iron to go 175 every time and these were rocket launchers.  I hit bombs with them which is not exactly what I want.  But man, the ball feels good coming off the face.

However, whoever said the P1s were better than P3s have not hit these.  There is no comparison.

I won't be bagging a set as I'm still in the eternal struggle between P2s and 303s.  But these are magnificent irons.  If you get a chance to hit them, don't pass it up.

How do you like the P3?  I've heard the face is kind of hot and doesn't have the traditional Epon feel.  I've been gaming the AF 302s for about 5 years now, but the club ho in me wants to experiement.  I'm looking at both the P3 and 0311, but there's something about the P3s that catches my eye and am leaning toward purchasing a set.

I prefer the 0311 by a large margin....ive gamed the copper 302s which were one of my favorite Epons and the SUS was a very good club as well.....The Epon personal 2s are currently catching my eye but I'm not much of a fan of the P3s.....it was something i needed to buy because i generally love Epon and the Af105 driver was a monster.

* in terms of value...the black PXG 0311Ts are almost $600 a head while the P3s can be had for about $275-$300

Had a set of PXG 0311/0311T combos and switched to Epon Personal 3's because I liked the black- zero performance gain/loss between the two. Those who have hit the Epon's, I'm very surprised you thought them feeling hot. I have yet to experience that on any of the clubs. I was nervous with the undercut as well, but the sound and feel is simply Epon to me and much different than PXG's. PXG is distinct due to that elastomer. Think if callaway made a forged hybrid I guess is closest for those who haven't hit them. I loved them and would go back if I had to and be just as happy. It would be extreme dark and 0311T all the way through though as that would be closest sizewise to the P3.  The long irons in the P3's are a dream to look at and hit whereas 0311 is god awful offset and blade length.

Thanks for the feedback, good stuff.

I've heard good things about the AF 105, too.  I'm leaning toward the AF 105 also, but I'm still feeling kind of burned from the 2012 Zero.  Could never get that club dialed-in.  You mentioned the AF 105 "was" a monster.  Any particular reason it's no longer in your bag?

What shafts do you have in your P3s?  I have SPB, X-Stiff soft stepped once, in my AF 302s and they are perfect.  If I go with the P3, I'll probably go with the Modus 125, X-Stiff soft-stepped once.

I really don't have a single good reason why i switched from my perfect driver......basically i was bored and the M2 did give me longer bombs but the Epon was a better driver for sure...better feeling and found more fairways.....but i like to switch clubs no matter how well they are playing....

* in terms of value...the black Epon 0311Ts are almost $600 a head.

Was there a wait on the black finish or did they have those in stock ready to go?

that was a typo......i meant the black "Darkness" PXG 0311T are almost $600 a head (retail)

Yeah I knew what you meant. Was just wondering if the dealer you went through was able to get you those quickly or if you had to wait for the dark finish.

I ordered a couple sets in June and July and those were quickly delivered and then i bought a set in August and that took about 10 days and my latest order took about 10 days as well......Im guessing the wait is about 10 days, the new pricing is however in effect....i only had to pay the new pricing on my latest order.
