As title says, been thinking about purchasing a set of black in a 54&60. Though I don't see much info about them.

The 210 KGX are the best of the Epon Line.

TearDrop Shape
Playable Bounce

I can post some pictures from different angles if you need them.

I would rate the 210 is similar or just behind the 208 but way head of the 213.  If you can get either 210 or 208, get them.

Very  nice - I have the 50 degree.

I'd recommend the copper-chrome finish rather than the black (unless you like rust spots).

Below is NOT mine... but shows you a used 54 example in copper-chrome

I have the 210  50, 54 and 60, all in copper.  Just ordered a new tour wedge in 50 to compare.

Love Epon stuff! Haven't really done much with the wedges yet, but have a set of Personals on order!

I'll add my Epon 301 irons were originally in the black finish - and I later had them refinished to copper chrome ( the heat and humidity was too much hassle for them).... and the copper chrome looks better, feels better (sound?) and ages better - and it's unique to Epon.

If you like mid low bounce, medium sized wedges the 210 is good.  If you like mid high bounce bigger wedges the 213 can't be beat IMO.

Did they come in black?  I didn't think so.  Best epon wedges, never got them going well for some reason.  Full sole, pretty high bounce, larger in size.

Just picked up a set of the 210KGX in black! Awesome wedges! Only set of Epon where I like the profile and has enough bounce for me in the Midwest.

I had distance control issues with mine, they are hot like the irons.  Hope they work well for you though!  I've got a 52/56 I've been too lazy to post if anyone is looking.

Hello Gentlemen: This is my first reply, just joined though not new to the game of life, 65. I read COOPS reply and in his message he spoke about having his Epon clubs refinished in the Copper-Chrome? How does one go about having an Epon club refinished and what does it cost?

I am going to be re-shafting my AF-503 and 210 KGX wedges this winter, no I am not one of the fortunate ones who live or travel south for the winter. I played copper ping eye 2 for many years when starting this embarkation, still have two sets, one with contemporary graphite that I game and one mint. Oh Yes the question: I would love to have the 50* - 54* and 58* wedges refinished in this copper-chrome.

Thank you very much for your support.

At the time i bought them, the Epon dealer in Bangkok could get Epon to refinish them( obviously ordering them in copper chrome from the start was the usual better option!)  - and the Af-tour blades were available to order in copper chrome too.

Now the copper chrome is not even an option at all in any of the irons, just some of the wedges... so unavailable.

Tourspecgolf do some refinishing, but it will not be the same and I cannot say how it holds up to long term use.

The old Ping 'copper' was i think a beryllium copper mix ( as opposed to plated carbon steels like the Epons etc) which was certainly fabulous and aged nicely... but any dust from grinding etc is hazardous and so manufacturing in that material stopped.

Yep, you could bump the copper refinish thread on TSG, someone has to have played this whole season with something they had refinished.

I know it is an older topic, but I had the 210 for a very short time and found them to be quite "bulky". Not really delicate. Had and still own the 208 wedge. Much better in my opinion.
