For anyone interested you can get last year's Deluxe Cart Bag at TGW for $169, either blue/gray or orange/gray. I got mine Friday, really nice bag. AFAIK only the color schemes changed for 2017.

Last year's Titleist bag pretty cheap on Woot today. $112 for the 14 way stand and $109 for the cart bag

I just got a new Lightweight stand from my course, has the logo and whatnot. It is super light compared to my Nike bag I was using. Cannot wait to get it out for 36 tomorrow.

Picked up my new Titleist Staff Bag today. I had held off against doing it because they only seem to be available in 9.5 this year where previously I've had a 10.5.

There is definitely a little less room in the main compartment for waterproofs and other clothes, etc but they seem to have found more space in other areas for bottles of water and other accessories.

I'll get it out on the course on Wednesday so hopefully it will be all good. Definitely feels light for a staff bag.

anyone have the staff stand bag?? Looks amazing.

Tried the players 5 - too big kinda bulky to carry but I dont carry much - didn't like the pocket layout, tried the 4 perfect size but top was tight....

Given up carrying forever so Might go with the staff stand bag.

Did they change the way the umbrella goes into the the bag in 2017. Seems like in 2016 it went through a loop. It looks like in 2017 it goes through the bag somehow

Has anyone had an issue with the stand legs "sagging" when carrying the bag? Mine probably hang an inch and a half or two inches below the bag.

I just bought a Players 4 yesterday and took it out to walk 9 today. Are any of you guys finding that the legs don't retract fully? Sometimes when I walk the legs will open and close as I'm taking steps. Is there a specific adjustment I need to make with my straps or redistribute my belongings in the pockets differently?

I'm having the same issue with my Players 5 bag...  the legs don't fully retract and hang down 4"-6" when I'm carrying...  It's a little annoying walking and feeling the back of my legs touch the bag's legs...  Is there any way to tighten the metal bars so the legs stay up?

No, but if you take it to a authorized retailer they should send it back to titleist. The only issue is it takes about 2 weeks and isnt guaranteed to work. I'm on my 3rd bag.

What are the adjustments like on the straps on this bag? Are there 4 adjustments that you can make tighter?

Yes.  I won a Players 14 way at an outing and put it in play.  It worked an looked great on my clicgear, yet the first time I carried found myself asking what the hell is hitting the back of my legs.  Yes, it was the stand legs that didn't fully retract.  I ended up transitioning to a SM 4.5LS after trying it two more times.  I have a very lightly used 14way Players with pockets galore if anyone is interested?  Just don't expect to carry.

Send me a DM, I have been speaking to Titleist about these issues. I have the 14 way which is the bag I have had issues with. I was able to make it a little bit better by adjusting the back adjustments on the arm straps.

After many years, apparently Titleist noticed how many millions of Hoofers have been sold with their crap stand mechanism and decided if you can't beat 'em, join 'em. Aside from Sun Mountain it's getting mighty hard to find a bag with a real stand actuator instead of the stupid tilting-floor grip-stirring monstrosity.

I disagree, I really like the new internal stand mechanism, the Sun Mountain external stand actuator really annoyed me because it never allowed the bag to sit properly in a cart.  I think this year's Titleist bags are the best on the market bar none.

It's the Ultra-lightweight and only has 3 partitions, which I am not sure I would like. Cant decide.

I disagree, I really like the new internal stand mechanism, the Sun Mountain external stand actuator really annoyed me because it never allowed the bag to sit properly in a cart.  I think this year's Titleist bags are the best on the market bar none.

Iím with you! I was going to go Ping Hoofer until I saw the Players 4 and love it! Sticks just a little bit at times (just enough to trigger 4 series bag flashbacks!). I carry, push and ride and this bag is a champ for me...

Has anyone had an issue with the stand legs "sagging" when carrying the bag? Mine probably hang an inch and a half or two inches below the bag.

Just got the replacement players 4 back from club - legs seem to lock for most part but do shake and sag slightly.  The original was bad and the legs hanged way down.  I called and Titleist admitted some early models had a defect.

I'd love to know any further cheats/hacks/tips anyone has to help the legs lock.  I used to have a Ping that always latched secure and stayed.

Thanks
