ha! I just got an email showing Kirkland Signature 4a used golf balls for $23.99 a dz! more than 5a prov1's at $20. I like the ksig but not at those prices. i'll wait for them to come make a comeback...if they ever make it back. I hope they do, I'm almost out.

With the exceptions of collectible balls like the multi colored Pings, I don't ever recall a ball selling for more used than new..

Somewhere earlier in this thread some were claiming they will be valuable collectibles.

About as valuable as Top-Flites, no.

I just played my 5th round with them, they work great for me (14 handicap) , still have 4 dozen left, have donated 6 to the golf courses, don't feel bad loosing one of these as I did loosing a Pro-V 1.
sell me a sleeve of 3!!  I miss the 2 color ping!!!

Are those Ping balls yours? That is one of the better color combos I've ever seen with them.

I just got back from my annual golf trip to northern Michigan.  Before we tee'd off Saturday morning a guy asked me if I wanted a Kirkland Signature that he had found the night before.  I played it for 36 holes and all I can say is it's awesome.  I am a sweeper and don't spin the ball much but with the K Sig I was getting real good spin.  It is nice to putt with and just as long off the driver as a Pro V1.  The ball held up and is still looking good with no cuts or marks.  I would definitely play this ball on a regular basis.

When I play the Pro V1 it sits around 6 inches from my ball mark but with the KSig it was backing up 2 - 6 feet.  Sometimes it looked like it was jumping back.  Kinda cool!

I put 27 holes on a KSig this weekend and overall I thought it was a good ball. It did well in the wind and was well behaved on wedge shots. Only negative I can report is the cover scuffed easy for me with wedge and short iron shots. I had an errant shot that sent the ball into a tree and that scuffed it beyond what I typically play. Overall, great value.

Well, ksigs are fairly valuable if you're going off what they are selling for on ebay.

The only thing I would add to this short review is I find it to be slightly longer off the driver than the ProV1x. Otherwise, I would echo these points exactly.

Anybody else notice that the super hot are the only ones on the costco app now? Couple days ago they had both callaway balls up and not it's just those 55 whatever's? Clearing inventory? Or went back to callaway because ksigs are done for now?

I tore a hammy the other night playing basketball and put an ice cold ksig on the back of my leg.....im all healed.

Its amazing this thread is 320 pages long.....its fun to kid around but obviously there are a lot of fanboi's out there. It just doesn't work for me like the Wilson duo does. very under rated ball that flies a mile for $19.99

LOL funny, yeah I am not a good enough golfer and dont have the swing speed for the ksigs truly, its  basically a prov1x type ball, that you need to compress to get the results...i must say i did notice it does stop pretty well on greens. dont forget the Wilson elite 50...hidden sccret

They've rotated between one Callaway ball or another as long as I've been shopping there.  I think that's just what they're going to consistently carry, as the supply is reliable...and they obviously have a good arrangement with Callaway (clubs, bags, balls, gloves, etc.).

The K-Sig balls...I wouldn't hold my breath on those ever rolling off the production line in quantities that are sufficient to take the place of Callaway.  The K-Sigs are just a novelty to drum up free advertising and get people in the door.  Myself and many others have been saying that for months and I see no new information at this point that would cause me to deviate from that position.

Forgetting about the tree scuff for the moment but smurf seems to indicate it's scuffing off wedges and irons.

Is that true ?

I mean I'm not a long hitter (driver about 235, 7 iron about 150) but I can honestly say I haven't scuffed a ball with ANY iron shot in at least a 15 years playing Callaway Chrome Softs, ProV1s, TM Reds, Bridgestone B330RX, etc.

Even some balls I hated didn't scuff off a wedge or iron shot like Callaway's Tour ix(?), and Nike's 20XI :dntknw:

I put 27 holes on a KSig this weekend and overall I thought it was a good ball. It did well in the wind and was well behaved on wedge shots. Only negative I can report is the cover scuffed easy for me with wedge and short iron shots. I had an errant shot that sent the ball into a tree and that scuffed it beyond what I typically play. Overall, great value.
The only thing I would add to this short review is I find it to be slightly longer off the driver than the ProV1x. Otherwise, I would echo these points exactly.

Forgetting about the tree scuff for the moment but smurf seems to indicate it's scuffing off wedges and irons.

Is that true ?

I mean I'm not a long hitter (driver about 235, 7 iron about 150) but I can honestly say I haven't scuff a ball with ANY iron shot in at least a 15 years playing Callaway Chrome Softs, ProV1s, TM Reds, Bridgestone B330RX, etc.

Even some balls I hated didn't scuff off a wedge or iron shot like Callaway's Tour iV(?), and Nike's 20XI :dntknw:
i cut a ksig when i skulled a shot....

I haven't really seen a difference in durability vs ProV1s or other urethane balls. I scuff them with a wedge maybe once every few rounds.

All urethane covered balls scuff for me with wedges. They have a softer, tackier cover that you can feel with your fingernail. That's what makes them spin and check around the green. It's a trade off that I am willing to make. If you want a no scuff durable ball go with surlyn covered balls but know that they will have more roll out.

I play whatever 3 or 4 piece urethane ball I bought for a deal in tournaments but my practice rounds and provisionals are always Wilson zips. 2 dozen for 19.99 at Walmart and always in stock!

Same here. I scuff or cut urethane balls all the time. maybe not every wedge shot, but I've done it with every tour ball I've played. Ksig is no different.
