It's intriguing that 47 people are following this thread and quite a few have yet to voice an opinion.

Speak now or forever hold your KSigs.
I choose not to speak.  I'm a 'Merican.  And you can't make me.  Plus I don't own any KSigs. :)

How many times have you heard the phrase "You have the right to remain silent..." TB?

I finally found a KSig yesterday and played it alongside a zstar. Very soft and a few yards longer with the irons. Driver distance was too close to worry about. Spin on chips was a little better with the KSig as well. I was pretty impressed for the first time trying it out. If I could find them for $15 dozen, I would for sure play them. Did try a few sand shots and it scuffed up a little so durability may not be the greatest, but for that price, I can live with it. Also very soft off the putter. I'm typicly resistant to trying new balls so finding one was nice for me.

its a wilson duo with the KSIG badge

hopefully not, i think it will hurt the kirkland brand. nothing against DUO but the ksig is not even close if you compare it to duo.
how can you hurt the KSIG brand....nobody uses it! the Duo brand would be hurt by disguising itself as Costco ball

let me ask you before i explained in details and answer your question. have you try or use the kirkland golf ball?

Just ignore this guy. All he does is troll. Way back in the thread, he and his 2 accounts had a conversation with himself about how he "cut" the K-Sig with an iron and how awful it is. They should have kicked him off the site just for using two accounts to troll other members.

Crazy strange question:

Can golfballs go bad in heat? Live in Chandler AZ. Bought 4doz K-Sigs when they first came out. Loved the ball. Got injured/busy and took 8 months off from golf. Start up again this summer and notice K-SIG going nowhere for me off the driver. Have Arcos data for a round where I switched to a diff ball on the back 9 and distances radically different.

Then, was chatting with a buddy yesterday is a scratch player and drives the ball really well. Asked if he had any K-Sigs left, he responded "no, they went bad in the garage". Thought he was joking until I started thinking back on my experience, and I kept mine in the garage as well. Probably hits 115+ on a daily basis for 3 months a year out there if not hotter. Possible?

I still miss the way the Ksig spun around the green for me. Nothing else has come close, including TP5x, chromesoft, etc.

I would guess no, but maybe someone with some evidence or studies could give more info? I store mine in my garage too, and the weather has been over 100 most of the summer here in SoCal, and they are playing fine. Booming 300 plus drives on a regular basis with mine. And you're right, nothing has ever spun like my KSigs. They absolutely rip up the green and spin back like crazy. My favorite ball ever.

According to Titleist R&D the answer is yes..excessive heat can affect a golf ball in a negative way.

"Today's Titleist golf balls can be safely stored for five years or even more, as long as they're kept away from excessive heat. Attics and cars, for example, can get very hot during the summer and can dramatically shorten a ball's life. Normal indoor conditions should be fine for storage."

i called costco the week of the supposed release.  same lady i talked to before who helped me figure out which stores had them.  VERY on the ball (heh).

anyway, she had no record of the KSig in any store nationwide, or of any upcoming delivery.

i've sold my local wrx buddies a 4 dozen at cost, down to my last two dozen which are ebay-bound.

RIP ksigs, we hardly knew ye.
