You know what would be cool? If I was the costco executive who played with OP, I'd pimp this thread to all my costco colleagues..
"Yo, check out this bunch of hoarders! I started all this firestorm baby!!"

I'd put it on my CV.

Can anyone tell me how the 4 piece compares to the Callaway Chrome Speed? I have about 4 dozen of each and want to get rid of one set - I just don't play enough anymore to keep this many dozens of balls, I have a solid 3 dozen others that are in 2 and 3 sleeves of a certain type as well.

Thanks!

I think they are similar.  Both are firmer balls, urethane cover.  Good performance.

If you are talking about the short run, discontinued Chrome Speed, I'd be glad to help relieve you of any burden they may be imposing upon you :-). . PM me if you decide to let go of the Chrome Speeds.

Windy today, gusts over 25, playing bridgestone rX, Callaway Chrome, and a K sig.  Had 2 shots balloon badly, both times it was the ksig.  Kind of impressed with the Bridgestone as I usually play Callaways and Taylormades.

I got an email asking for comment and rating for both my last Ksig and Ktrip orders. I gave an excellent rating and said I would like to be able to buy them in store.  One little guy. One little vote.

Funny...I played in the wind also today with a Ksig,Superhot & ProV1
I had the Superhot & ProV balloon on me twice but the Ksig sailed under the wind like a Ninja in the dark every time.
Could it just be that we hit the balloon balls a bit higher on the face? Got a bit more of a juicy lie with them or any of the other 100 reasons that can go wrong in a swing to make a ball fly higher than you want?

Im leaning towards operator error in my case...

Im leaning towards operator error in my case...

I flat wore myself out hitting enough shots to be sure it was not random operator error. Into a steady 10mph wind original K-Sig showed no tendency to upshoot off 8-iron, PW or GW.  It had a fairly high trajectory overall but flat enough not to be bothered by the wind.

K-3 was a whole ‘nother story. Upshoots with a normal swing, upshoots a LOT if I swing hard with a wedge.

Everything has its drawbacks, as the man said when his mother-in-law died, and they came down upon him for the funeral expenses.

I agree with North Butte.

I think the K3 with the mid iron - Wedge... the K3 has high initial launch for me. Kind of just "floats" to my eye.

I didn't have much issues with wind disturbing the ball.

However the K sig I can easily play with trajectory

I just happen to be on Costco website today and for the heck of it I checked on the K3.  Seems they still have some so I put in an order.  That's it for a while.  Starting to feel like a hoarder.

I've played the four piece K-Sig and love it.  However, noticed a post about the three piece now for sale.  How does the three piece perform compared to the four pierce or other non K-Sig three piece balls?

They are pretty similar, the 4 piece seems to bite the greens and back up, whereas the 3 piece is more of a hop and stop. They both go far off the driver, hit my best drive of the year so far at about 340 with the 3 piece. My stepson is also a big hitter, and played a whole round with the 3 piece instead of his normal Pro V1. He said it seemed just as far if not a little farther off the driver, and held greens a little less than the prov or the 4 piece.

48 balls or 48 dz.?  This is WRX remember.  48 balls is nothing.  48 dz. would impress most, but not all, on this site.

Checked my store today in Houston area and no golf balls were to be found at all...Not expecting any either, as my Costco apparently doesn't believe in sporting equipment outside of tennis balls and callaway gloves...

The KSIG3 Is hanging tough online and I think they learned from the Ksig4 that they need to have the ability to churn them out in numbers if the demand is there and so far...Its has been and they have.

Ksig4 has been in stock way more often in 2018 and I think another load is getting ready to drop online as evidenced by the picture from the store in PS above...they are obviously out there and not as scarce to find anymore.

Ebay flippers....Beware...

I wonder if this may finally put the overrun conspiracy to rest.

Zero chance it ends the overrun theory.

“Overrun” cores are the only explanation for how these golf balls could be sold at this price.

“Overrun” cores are the only way these balls could perform as they do.

Mr. Snell has said -repeatedly- that once these overrun cores are gone, they’re gone.  And that the OG KSigs will never be seen again.  Whoops.

Overruns, man.  Overruns.

The mystery continues.
