Not sure I have ever hit a fairway with mine without a major compensation with alignment at the tee box.  I think the shaft is just too whippy and can't close the face fast enough for me.  I have bombed it off a fairway once on a long par five and it was a massive hit deep down the middle.

I still game the Callaway X460 Tour with an Aldila NV 65 Stiff. When centered it's a rocket launcher and goes as far as anything I've hit recently (on launch monitors, have not tested anything else outdoors). Feels great off the face, but I think it may be time for a new Driver. MAYBE.

Go get a head.

I've had TWO G15's 12º and am currently playing a G15 10.5º. I sold one of the 12º to a 3/4 capper who still plays it (and he just shot 78 from the tips at Torrey).

I've tried a bunch of shafts. One of my favorite combos was a stock pull stiff from the original SLDR on the 12º. The head started loosening and I tried a 10.5º a friend had sitting around and I've stayed with that since. That has the stock X-stiff. TFC or something like that. Tried the 12º with a whiteboard, and never liked it <- that's the club the Torrey guy uses.
Titleist 917 D2 9.5º
RBZ Stage 2 4W 17º
Mizuno Fli-HI 21º
Mizuno MX-300 4Iron-GW

This was the driver in my bag the last half of 2012, my last in the game. I don't know if it's too early to call it a "classic" as far as withstanding the test of time, but again, it was a rocket, and regardless of how many gizmos they load on a driver head, I can't imagine that with the proper shaft, it gives anything away to their current line-up.

Below are my two drivers that I rotated in '12, the Stage 2 T and the 9032

Nice Play :)

All the Best,
RP

Gotta be the 905R. I still have one at home and break it out for a few rounds every year. Something about the combination of the sound and the feel off the clubface keep bringing me back. Honestly, I'm not sure why I even switched from it in the first place

Dang, is the 910 D3 a relic?   It is my regular gamer, although I just picked up a M1 on the cheap so we'll see how the next few weeks go on course.   I have a feeling the 910 will stay in rotation through because it is such a good driver.   Keep that M1 upstart in line.

I gave my 07 burner away when I got a R9 super-tri.   Reading the love for it makes me nostalgic.

Surprised no one has mentioned the R9 super Tri yet. Everyone I've talked to says that's one of the better TM drivers ever made.

I personally went back to the supertri from a 910 D2 and never looked back
