Like the topic says what is the one driver out there that has stood the test of time. I think most people would agree that the Ping Eye 2 irons are the  irons that have stood the test of time. So what driver would you put in the bag with those irons if you were building a time-tested set of Clubs? Let's try to keep it pre 2012

TM 510tp. Still makes its way into my bag from time to time when my swing is good. As long as anything new and unmatched feel. Just gotta find the centre

both the R510 TP and Srixon W-506 are great answers...played both.

I'd say the Titleist 905R is definitely worth mention as well.

Also, a sleeper driver would have to be the Cleveland Launcher Comp.

The two greatest drivers of all time:
Titleist 905R - hand crafted by Zeus himself. Can only be properly wielded by those deemed worthy of the gods.

Taylormade 07 Burner TP - the Excalibur of the TM drivers. They struck platinum with this one then pissed it all away in the following years.

What's in the bag as of 8-23-17
Driver - 2016 Taylormade M2 HL w/ Kuro Kage TINI Prototype X Flex
3 Wood - 2016 Taylormade M2 HL w/ Diamana Blue Board Stiff
Irons - Mizuno MPH5 3 iron w/ KBS Tour 125 Stiff+
Mizuno MP-25 4-PW w/ KBS Tour 125 stiff+
Wedges - Callaway MD3 51/56/60 w/ KBS Wedge Flex
Putter - Odyssey Versa #9
Ball - Srixon Z Star/Z Star XV or Q Star Tour
Bag - Sun Mountain C-130 Digital Camouflage Cart Bag

Here is a good comparison of two drivers, one old and one new, https://www.youtube....?v=G5Sf4cZwusc. It would be interesting to see both in the same shaft to get a better comparison of just the technology in the head.

Few favorites from each company:

Ping - Rapture
TM - 510tp, burner tp
Titleist - 983e, 905r
Callaway - ft5 th
Cobra - speed pro D

Truth is all modern titanium driver post the r5 era are all COR maxed out and will all hold their own when properly fitted. Im not even convinced modern drivers are more forgiving, none seem to hit the 5900 moi figure which was reached around 2010.

Love the 07 Burner TP.  That was one of those drivers where your friend would buy it then you had to go get one too.  You'd see entire foursomes with that driver.  It still holds up too.  Great stick.

+1 on this.  I was back and forth with my 910 D3  Vs BCP and it was tough.  I got fitted for a 915 D3 and that has kicked them both out.  As long as BCP (once right shaft) and as accurate as the 910 D3.  Best of both worlds for me.

Still play it, even bought a back up this year after I tried knocking it off its throne.

G10. Absolutely hate that the shaft broke 5 years ago. Replaced it with something else and ive really struggled to find a great driver after that. Have TM R15 now and its the best ive used since that G10.
