Like it man seems you are a tinkerer and club ho like I am. Nothing wrong at all with various set ups within a "set" I do the same sort of stuff myself. I build and set MY stuff for ME.  Also spy that NC State bag in the corner. I knew their long time golf coach well he was a friend of my old man's. Have not talked to him in 10 years or so. If he is still living he has to be up there in age because he was the coach there when I was a teenager and I am rapidly approaching the big 60 myself. Also something else I spot that you and I do alike you also mix shafts within a set. Glad to see a fellow ho and tinkerer posting and heck you have a NC State bag so you are A Ok in my book. I noticed the liberal use of lead tape I am a lead tape guru too. Down here on the beach they call me Dr Lead Tape also noticed the home made balance job on one of the wedges right up my alley

Sykes is the coach.  I am definitely a tinkerer when it comes to some clubs, but make liberal use of lead tape for SW with the weird lengths of my irons.  Both the 60 and 56 have porting to help with SW since I play them very long.  I lived at Sunset beach for about six years before moving to Atlanta.

The pure grips are great for a guy like me that plays without a glove.  I used to use the red velvet cord golf pride, but they have become harder to find and expensive.  My old business partner LaMont at Mannkrafted swears by their grips, so I had to give them a try, and I am glad I did.

Stupid golf, stupid club ho......

So I have made some changes, the XR irons are back out of the bag, there was too much offset.  The King LTD 3 wood goes too far.

I have put the J40 CB 4 iron back into the bag, and the TM UDI 2 iron in as well.   The three wood has been temporarily re-assigned, and one of the Nickent 3 woods is back in the bag.  The LTD is still there but I have found it goes too far.

Nice bag.  Any updated pics of the blended Cobra set?  Did you build them with 1/4" progressions as well?

Refreshing to hear someone say that a fairway club goes too far....makes sense.  I haven't heard that for a while

I will snap some pics of the Cobra Blended set, but yes I built them at 1/4 progressions as well.  I start my wedges extremely long, and the 60, 54, 50, are all the same length and go up in 1/4" progressions from there.

The LTD's have gone by the wayside.  The three wood went farther than I wanted and the driver was the second best I have played for my swing and impact positions.   When I miss it is off the toe and the 816 DBD with the gravity core and liberal application of toe side lead tape are still the best for me.  The 3 wood rotates between the Cobra F7, Callaway 1.5, and Callaway 816.  I have a 2 iron UT and 2 iron Apex hybrid.  3 iron UT and then Cobra blended set to GW.  Just added two new black Cleveland wedges.
