does anybody use a bag boy nxo bag with the clip-lok system? is it any good?

does anybody consider it just as geeky as iron head covers? (not that i care as long as my clubs are organized) ;)

The Bennington Quiet Organizer bag BLOWS it away. Check it out.

true, but so does the price tag, at least here in europe. plus, i do not like the fake leatherish looks that much. but i suppose, quality-wise, the bennington bags are probably the best out there.

I have one (won it) and I like it. I have the one that spins around. It has plenty of room and does what I need it to do. Would I have bought it if I had not won it, probably not. They aren't cheap.

I have an NXO but not the revolver. I absolutely love the bag. Very good for carts and push carts. Honestly dont use the locks. The holes are firm but not going to damage clubs. Alot of and good pockets. I have had mine for 6 months and love it. I looked at almost every bag on the market before I bought this one. If you buy one I don't think you will be sorry.

I have a revolver NXO . Great bag , lil heavier than titelist stand bags . The revolving and locking mechanisms are solid . Great cart bag lots of storage . i use it as stand bag . Putter slots are loose and are not sturdy.
Good for avoiding bag chatter in car and cart .

I actually have the first griploc that came out that was closed out when the revolver came out. It works great no issues with clubs banging together and they lock into place well. The older version had the locks on the bottom of the bag that you pushed the club into and rubber tabs that centered the shaft on the top. I also use iron covers as well. I just like my clubs to look brand new it is just a obsession i have that I do not like my irons banged up.

I have this bag (last year's revolver version) and I like it. I like it so much that I traded my stand bag for a push cart and use the revolver when I was walking. There is plenty of storage throughout the bag. It holds the clubs well and rarely do I ever here any chatter coming from my bag.

The one major complaint I have is with the external putter clips. They worked worked great in the beginning but after about 20 outings they lost my trust. My putter fell off one day and the only reason I know was I heard something hit the cart path behind me. I put a piece of velcro through where the strap (the carts strap to secure your bag to the cart) holder is around the top shaft hook. It worked for awhile but after getting a more expensive putter I decided just to put the putter in one of the revolver slots and NOT use the hooks anymore.

A couple of other minor issues, when it's cart path only and you take 4-5 clubs to other side of the fairway your friends look at you like you're crazy as you take a little bit more time to carefully place you're clubs back into the proper slots. The other is that if you have a lot of headcovered clubs it seems to get a little congested in the revolver. Both issues are minor.

I have the non-revolver and don't care for it. I bought it because I have forged clubs. I wanted to protect them as long as I could. The irons locked in place (all but one did, anyway), but being locked in doesn't prevent the heads from spinning and clattering against the irons next to it. So now I have chatter marks on the backs of all my irons.

I wrote to the company and asked was this normal, and got a very useless reply - something like, no you must have a defective one. Great John, what should I do about it???? Now it does a great job holding my spare clubs in the garage. :swoon2:

I had one and got rid of it. The revolving top was really useful and there were plenty of pockets, which was nice. The rest of the bag didn't work for me. The locking slots left a funky black rubber residue on the shafts. The putter clip does not work - my putter fell out as we were driving along the Plantation Course on Maui (I would have lost it if not for a cool Marshall who found it and returned it.) There are two cooler pockets, but I found them to be too small to be of much use. Sorry for the negative review but in all honestly, that's what I found to be true.

I got an NXO Revolver for my birthday last year (royal blue/black). I like the rrevolving top, the pocketing and color scheme. The putter clip is BAD. The bag is definitely a cart or push cart bag due to the weight. On a 1-10 scale: 8.5

much cheaper than an nxo clip lok or a revolver bag is to buy 14 rubber vice grips that they use for regripping clubs. they are like .80 a piece and they can be easily riveted or taped in your favorite bag. i use 3m doublesided tape and i have one in each of the fourteen dividers in my bag. also i riveted one to the outside of my bag for my umbrella. works great and costs less than 20 bucks. lets see one of you guys find a cliplock bag for that price :welcomeani:
