BST Rules

Very simply put it is our intent to create a "safe haven" to buy, sell and trade equipment. Honor and integrity will be restored to a badly tainted tour equipment marketplace Our Buy / Sell / Trade section has to be managed. There are rules that need to be followed. To allow the "GolfWRX.com" community to grow we are not requiring any fee for listing items at this time. Rules (in addition to the Board rules):

  • 1. No unauthorized commercial postings
  • 2. MANDATORY! - Please provide clear original pictures in For Sale or Wanted to Trade listing and items MUST BE IN YOUR POSSESSION.  Small or blurry images in your Ad may cause it to be removed without warning.  Also, because its impossible to tell if an Ebay picture is original, no watermarked images from Ebay or similar type hosting services is allowed.  If wanting to use those services, then please post a picture with your username visible with the item.
  • 3. No e-bay links in the B/S/T unless you are the seller and add the sale price or trade equivalent.
  • 4. No negative comments regarding sellers asking prices.
  • 5. All items must have a sale price. Including items up for trade.
  • 6. No selling of surplus goods from other sites.
  • 7. No selling of questionable goods.
  • 8. No selling new uninstalled shafts without prior approval per the Rules of the OEM. OEMs include TT, Grafalloy, Fujikura & Mitsubishi Rayon (and any other OEMs that might have strict MAPP policies).  Please PM Gxgolfer if needing more clarification.
  • 9. Equipment-Please state whether original or altered. This applies to all equipment and all processes. Refinished, reshafted, lie angles adjusted etc. Pullouts- please remove grip to make sure the shaft is not plugged. Measure accurately. Provide tipping information if known.
  • 10. Bumping Rules

  • 12. All WTB posts are locked. Replies should be sent by PM or Email. Listing trade items requires pictures and prices and should be placed in the FS section, not the WTB section.
  • 13.  All For Sale Items must be combined/listed in One Ad.
  • 14.  Members are allowed one listing per 30 days of a particular item and one listing per 24 hours (i.e. no listing of an item, selling it, closing the ad and starting a brand new one a few hours later).
  • 15. Non-commercial user who frequently use the BST may join the Classified Supporter program which starts at $5 per Ad per week and will allow their Ads to be pinned at the top of the forum.

My name's Alex Moore and I am the inventor of the Boomerang Putting System. We have a new Boomerang Professional 2008 Model and I want to get as many members to test and review the product as possible so I've come up with a couple of SPECIAL OFFERS I hope you'll find hard to turn down.

My claim is that anyone who spends a minimum of 15 minutes a day on the Boomerang will gain improved line and distance control as a result. So put your hand in your pocket and pull out twenty bucks and put my claim to the test. Then love it or hate it I would really appreciate it if you would share your Boomerang experience with rest of the forum.

Enjoy your putting! :D

Thaks aellis13,

I just want to spell it out for everyone else. The deal is:

1 x Boomerang Putting Professional ($30)
1 x 12ft Carnoustie Tournament Mat ($25)
1 x 15 Minute to Great Putting DVD ($20)

For $40 + 40% off shipping

This is all our latest stuff, 10 years since we launched the Tour Model and the Professional has come a long way - improved leading edge, better return-ability, improved target, improved mark and stain resistant surface... The Carnoustie Mat too - the biggest criticizm of the mat in the past was that it was too short and had creases. Not this one - it's 50% longer and 50% thicker and still stimps at 11-11.5 and the best part - no creases!

Keep the orders coming!

And enjoy your putting! :D

Cheers

Alex

PS If you could give us a bump when you order that would be much appreciated too.

Many thanks eRod v1.0,

Expect three separate packages over the next 10 days or so (the DVD is coming from Australia so it may take longer becuase of the holidays). This should keep you busy over winter. Don't get too discouraged if you can't break the record though - Brian's a putting freak of nature!

Enjoy your putting! :D

This is a great deal! I'm just mad that I ordered mine about a month ago for full price.

However, even at full price, this device is G-R-E-A-T! I think it provides excellent feedback and I've really enjoyed using it. I feel that it's helped me learn some important things about my stroke and helped me to improve my consistency immensely.

Alex, will I end up with the new 2008 model? I think the site said 8' mat.

Thanks for the offer. I just ordered the Tournament Pack.
It will give me something to work on during the Canadian winter.
Just curious what are people using or recommend for a slower and portable putting surface than the carnoustie mat at 11 on the stimp meter.
The courses I play are at that speed in the summer but at the start of the year they are more like a 8

Can you ship to an APO AE address?

And can you go with the 8' instead of the 12' Space kinda limited here. LOL

Thx

Ship to a what? I like special requests but I need to know what they mean - can you spell it out for me? Is this a cultural thing or forum thing?

It's kinda like a PO Box??? I don't know how to describe it. Instead of using Zip Codes when deloyed, we used APO AE codes. Same as a US Zip.

That's the best way I can think of explaining it

Thanks

Hi Chris,

We ship to PO Boxes all the time so I don't see why there should be a problem if you usually get parcels delivered to that address. The Boom and Carnoustie Mat ship from Florida and the DVD from Australia.

The Boomerang really does make practice fun! To the point where it can become obsessive so if you want to get any work done - don't put it in the office.

Enjoy your practice :D

Alex, you'll be shipping it to a troop! It's how the military mail conforms to the us postal address conventions.

"State" equivalent
AA - Armed Forces America
AE - Armed Forces Europe
AP - Armed Forces Pacific

"City" equivalent
APO - Army Post Office
FPO - Fleet Post Office

So a military address would look like:
Name
Postal Service Center + Identifier
APO, AP ZIP

Unfortunately, our military accomodations are not the most spacious so I think that's why he's asking for a shorter mat. :)

I concur. Wish there was a boomerang/6 foot mat/discount shipping combo available.
I guess the alternative would be to cut the 12' mat. Alex, are there any issues with cutting the matt to a shorter size?

Hi nosil,

I've cut mats in half myself when I needed to give demos in tight spaces - it adds a different dimension to the Boom and really focuses you on "must make" putts.

You can either cut it or just leave it half rolled-up behind the Boomerang and you'll never even know it's there. Once you cut it there's no joining it back together though so if you decide you want to really crank the Boom up to see what it can do one day you might regret it later.

Thanks for the order. :D And thanks to everyone else that ordered last night.

Enjoy your practice,

Cheers

Alex

Hey AG,

We shipped a Boom to an military guy in Guam and it got there OK so I don't think shipping will be a problem. As as far as using one in remote places, as long as you don't have sand on the floor and you can find a flat surface you can use the Boom just about anywhere - that's what it was designed for. Perfectly straight, inch-perfect putts from 3-30ft on a USGA rated fast surface (stimp 11-11.5) up to 500 times an hour with only two golf balls and you never have to move off your spot (once you get the hang of it) who could ask for more? No, wait, forget I said that, you blokes always want more ;)

Cheers

Alex

Alex,

Pulled the trigger and bought the tournament pack. Been reading about your product for a while on the various golf boards and to be honest I have been a bit skeptical about the claims. I look forward to giving it a try and I will post a review after some practice time.

Wow the deal from Alex keeps getting better. I took advantage of this great deal and ordered the tournament pack on December 28. I just got an e-mail from Alex saying I was the December winner for a free tournament pack including free shipping. I hope this is indicative of my luck for the rest of the year.
By the way hearing of my good fortune Alex refunded my purchase in full. Not many people would be willing to give away a sale like that.
Thanks Alex
