I'm going to resurrect this zombie thread in case anyone else searches for it.

My son (11 yrs old, 4'10) used a Golphin 1112 Driver for about 2 months which he thought was pretty good however his chs crept up to 78-85mph and he's quickly moved into a USKids TS driver. He's at that age/speed where he might soon be moving into senior OEM clubs.

He thought the Golphin clubs seemed to be very good beginner clubs - if I had a 9yr old complete beginner I'd suggest Golphin - they are very forgiving and all the clubs seem to be designed to get the ball into the air.

My son started on USKids UL at 10 and seems to have 'bypassed' the Golphin range, but they do seem to be very well designed clubs for complete beginners.
