Whats the benefit to the lead tape on the majority of his irons. For a guy that's so precise with them I'm surprised to see it. Whats this helping?

he feels like with the lead tape on the back his irons, he gets more softer feel. I have done it with a couple of putters and it will make feel and sound better

crazy thing with his bag is that he still has lead tape all over his stuff.

As a guy who has built clubs for all kinds of players including PGA Tour players, i cat believe that they cant get him what he likes without the tape, especially considerings how specific his wedge specs are

Since you've built clubs for tour players, I'll ask you this question.  How is it possible for Hideki to be playing stiff flex irons and XX woods?  It seems like he'd have a hard time loading the woods or a hard time not overloading the irons.
