I did mine myself but this time Iíll probable have someone who does them all the time do them.

Someone talk me out of this... Ha.  Im thinking about doing a sole swap with a brand new pair of cool grey 11's and my used original Jordan trainers golf shoes also the grey.  Would that make a good sole swap?  Basically the golf nike free sole onto a pair of 11's.

Those are the perfect Sole to use.

DO IT

i just did it here are some photos.
2001 jordan 9's sole swapped to my 2014 tiger woods soles. I still need to do another coat of paint on the sole but i think they turned out amazing.
So well in fact that I've already ripped the football lower off my 11 low football cleats to swap. Im not 100% sure what lower to use on the 11's. I have another pair of new TW 2014 but i also have a pair of Nike lunar control vapors that i ripped the flyknit out of and prepped. I'm gonna do a profile of both to see which one looks best for the swap.

Nice work fellas. I love how the lack of Jordan golf releases has turned this into a DIY forum!  Keep the pictures coming, they are awesome!

Where is Govrn located? I'm in Australia so i didn't wanna pay for shipping back and forth to the states hence why i'm doing most of the work my self. I found a old shoe shop that makes things by hand who has a sole press which is needed to make sure the golf sole really bonds to the upper. Best part is they only charged me $50 to press the TW soles on!!!

removing the foam lunar lower off the 11's is a real pain but will be worth it in the end.

He's located in Ontario, California which is a city just west of LA. You can find him on IG and ask if hell ship to Australia. Tell him Ish told you about him.

Good heads up for the do-it-yourself crowd. I have GOVRN doing white/columbia and Concord mids for me. Unfortunately I jumped the gun and got matching sizes (10.5 cleat to swap 10.5 golf sole). When asking about a purchase the first thing they told me was to get the sole a half size down. Now I'm stuck with a pair of those blue lunar command 2's that everyone is flipping from Burlington.

Does anyone have a good solution for cleaning the inside liner on the 13's? Wore my white/blue ones the other day. It was so dusty and hot that the liner around the ankle area is pretty dirty now.

We should start a separate thread for sole swaps. I was gonna do it once my shoes came in but it seems like the demand is there.

First football lower removed. What do you guys think? I'm lucky I'm using the lowers from the flyknit lunar command because they fit perfect. I test fit the 11's on the TW 14 sole and there is no way it would fit correctly. The heel of the football 11's is super narrow compared to the heel of the TW lower. Im not even sure going down a 1/2 size on the TW lower would allow it to fit. It almost looks like a normal jordan 11 upper would fit best on the TW lower.
I should be able to get the other football lower off the left shoe and get them to the shoe shop this week to get the golf soles pressed on. I will post pics when its all said and done.

Govrn also sells Jordan 11 low upper already combined with the Lunar Command sole.

https://govrnwear.co...lf-cleat-hybrid

Really interested in just purchasing this turn-key solution and was wondering if anybody out there might have already gone this route. Yea or nay?

Itís a fast and expensive way to do it.

cheaper to buy both shoes and send them in to him.

It's a fast and expensive way to do it.

cheaper to buy both shoes and send them in to him.

Jordan XI retro low FB cleat: $120 (limited sizes/colorway)
Lunar Command on closeout: $90 (limited sizes/colorway)
GOVRN cleat hybrid service: $95

I'd already be at a little over $300. I'd gladly pay the extra $50 to not have to shop all over to source materials.

Govrn also sells Jordan 11 low upper already combined with the Lunar Command sole.

Really interested in just purchasing this turn-key solution and was wondering if anybody out there might have already gone this route. Yea or nay?

Thatís what I was saying.  You can find deals in donor soles and the XIs are able to be bought for $100 right now off Eastbay.  So if someone is willing to put in the time to find good deals on the shoes, itís a good way to save some money.

Those look Sick!!

Are the Jordan's and the lunar commands the same size?

yes the football jordan 11.s fit perfect on the lunar command lower. both size 13

Commands or Vapors?

vapors  sorry i got confused for a moment.

also if govrn is selling the completed 11 low hybrids for $350 thats a great deal. I would have gladly paid someone $95 to remove the football cleat. I just didnt want to pay crazy shipping to send my shoes from Australia to LA and back.

Has anyone dealt with Govrn before.  I have a pair of XI lows I'd like to swap with my LCV. Do they have to be new shoes, or can the be worn?
