We're snowed in up here in PA---looking to make a road trip sometime in the next 2 weeks--any nice courses still open in these area's?? Not looking to golf in 30* weather--so it will probably be around the 19th-20th

I wouldn't get too excited about heading to VA/MD...we've got about 4 inches of snow on the ground. But, the weather is supposed to get up into the 40's tomorrow and later this week. I'm keeping my fingers crossed.

Come on down a little further south to East TN. Played 18 today in upper 40's weather. Down here though the weather can change quick so check b/4 yopu come down. All the courses are open as they never shut down. I live just about 20 minutes northeast of Knoxville and you could stay in Pigeon Forge/ Sevierville and play at three great courses. River Islands, Eagles Landing, and Patriot Hills. The courses are dormant right now though so you will be hitting off of dormant bermuda or Zysoia out at River Islands.

try www.ocgolf.com There are a lot of courses at the beach and I am sure that salt in the air has them hopefully free of snow...
