Would you like a downloadable App that showed you loft and draw/fade settings when you selected adapter and clubhead?  I think it would come in handy with all the heads and adapters that are interchangeable.  Jump in the fitting bay, punch in the adapter type (or pick loft range if not sure), the head you will be using, and bam all the settings are right there.  Sure there are charts, but an App would be pretty sweet.  It would take the guesswork out of it, which would make the fitting experience that much easier.

yeah, when I played the bc and bcp it was annoying to have to google that chart that tells you what loft everything is when you plug the bc adapter into a bcp head etc

i dont know if you need an app, just one solid chart that you can bookmark on your phone, the same way i do with the titleist surefit chart

I voted No because all they need to do is change the printing on the adapter to display the CHANGE in loft & lie per setting and the standard loft on the head (like TM and others).

That doesn't help you if you have a normal Bio Cell adapter, but want to try it in a LTD or LTD Pro head or F6, F6+, or F6+ Pro head.  You have to pull up a chart or if it's a different series compare specs off the website and try to correlate the two.

Doesn't really give you settings from across series, Bio Cell to Flyz to F6 to LTD.  Don't get me wrong I love that they kept the same adapter, but a quick fool proof way to know what loft and lie you are hitting would be very helpful.

So maybe this will work. Find your Cobra Head along the top line of the table below. Then go down to your desired loft. If you have a shaft with an adaptor from a different head simply look along to the corresponding number for that adaptor. For example if I want my King LTD to play at 10.5* but am using an adaptor from a Bio Cell Pro I can move left and see that the display should show 8.5* to play at an actual loft of 10.5*? all I have done here is look at the corresponding lofts on each of the various adaptors - maybe it's not just that simple?

That chart is off. My understanding is that for example the 8.5 draw setting on the bio cell plus would translate into the 7.5 setting in the LTD pro.

It does not go from draw to fade, it goes from draw to normal. then the normal setting on the bio cell plus would be the fade setting on the LTD pro. and it goes down a degree.

I don't understand why it's so hard for people to figure out. Just look at the highest/lowest lofts for a head compared to another head and add/subtract accordingly

I think the concept that confuses people is that they don't understand that the adapters are exactly the same. They just have different print on them. Say you have an LTD Pro head. The lowest loft is 7*. Look at the lowest loft on the adapter you have. Subtract the difference. Whatever loft you set it at, the driver will actually be less that difference for the loft. That will stay constant. For example, if the lowest loft on the sleeve says 9, then every loft will be 2 degrees less than it shows.

Now, if you have an adapter with draw settings on it, then the draw settings will be neutral, the neutral settings will be fade. If your adapter has fade settings, then they only difference is the loft differential. If the adapter has fade settings, then fade will still be fade.

If you can subtract and understand the above statement, you're good to go. I think I have that right anyway. So we already have the app, it's called a calculator! lol

Think about it this way, the way they adjust draw and fade with these heads is they make them more upright with draw settings and fade settings make the lie angle flatter.

So if you have a head that comes with fade settings, then the normal settings will be more upright, and the fade settings will set it flatter. If you put a draw adapter in it, then the draw settings would make the head more upright, which would be standard for the head. So the standard setting would be flatter, hence why the fade and draw are inverted.

So the heads set up for fade have a different hosel insertion angle in them from the factory than the heads set up for draw. Same goes for loft.

Has anyone ever measured the static loft of these heads w/o adapter? I would think the range of loft would be predicated on that. Are we assuming that the static loft of a stock Cobra F6 is 9? 12? 10.5? 10.5D?

My LTD Pro came today set at 8.5 F

The middle

Which for the pro is 8.5F. That would be like 10.5 neutral in a 9-12 range head
