I currently have 3. My gamers, my backup/travel set and a bag for when friends or my dad visits.
Thinking 3 may be low for WRX's. I do have more clubs, for example, 5 sets of irons, 4 drivers but that doesn't mean I have five sets of wedges and 5 putters, 5 bags to hold clubs in etc to form complete bags.
So what's your complete bag count my fellow ho's 😜👍

2 identical ones in two places (so I don't have to fly with clubs as much as possible anyway).

A friend who travels a lot has 5 identical sets.  I once asked him if he didn't like a shaft and decided to reshaft one if he reshaft really them all ... He didn't like the question.

5 identical sets, that's nuts??!! 2 identical is probably perfect if you have your gamers nailed down.

I've never kept more than one complete iron set at a time so I've been a 1 bag lifer...
Student life as an undergrad, and now doing post-grad...I just can't justify keeping extra full bags of clubs. Also, I donate a lot of clubs I'm not using to junior golf because I wish that was available to me. I wouldn't have had to grind full time backshop hours as a junior and barely have time to play.

I have a lot of clubs around, like 5 set of irons and six or seven bags, but some of them are kinda old.  After reading this topic, I should organize them as follows:
1. Current bag    (TM driver, Ping irons)
2. circa 2010 bag (Ping driver, Mizuno irons)
3. circa 2000 bag (TM driver, Titleist irons)
4. circa 1990 bag (Titleist driver, Hogan irons)
5. circa 1980 bag (Ram driver, different Hogan irons)
I know I have enough putters and wedges to fill out the sets, and probably fairway woods, too.  I've never gamed a one-brand set.

I divide my clubs into 4 "pods". Woods/hybrids, irons, wedges, and putter. I put together a bag if I am playing based on picking 1 set from each "pod". This will be based on how I feel, what looks good, what will match my shoelaces etc...

The most sets I can put together is based on the smallest pod, which in this case is woods/hybrids with 4 different selections. Irons are 8 sets, wedges are 9 sets, putters are 7.

Now I have put it down like that, I realise I may, or may not, have a problem.

I once joked that I had more clubs than a pack of cards and was slightly shocked, when thinking about it a little more, to discover that was all too true.

If mini drivers were used as driver substitutes, I can make up 8 full sets.  Otherwise my total is 6.

I do however have only one car :)

Very sentimental about clubs I've played over the years. Just cannot let them go. I have 4 sets of irons but only two drivers, a 3 and a 4 wood, some wedges and a few putters. Really only one bag for 85% of my playing. I take the 'old pals' out from time to time.

One full "gamer" bag.  I have my old irons from High School and College in a complete set in a couple of old bags.

So three full bags

Plus I have maybe 10 wedges
5 drivers
I have 15 or so 3 woods
I have 25 or so putters.

At least three sets of Project X iron shafts that were never hit.
4 Driver shafts
10 3 wood shafts
2 hybrid shafts
40 or so putter shafts
Driver - Callaway DBD 16 on Aldila 110 Rogue
Fairway - Callaway 1.5 BB Mini on Aldila Rogue 110 or Cobra F7 on an UST Mamiya Black
Hybrid - Callaway Apex 18* hybrid on UST Recoil 110 or Apex Utility 18* on UST Recoil 110
Irons - Callaway Apex Utility 21* Iron on UST Recoil 110
Cobra King Blended Set 5 - GW on UST Recoil 110
Wedges -  Callaway MD3 54* w/ Recoil 110
Cleveland RTX 60 w/ Recoil 110
Putter - No.9 Odyssey Works or EVNROLL ER2
Ball - Snell MTB or KSig

I need to get rid of some sh*t badly.  Just get in this mentality of not wanting to lose money on something by trading it in but instead just letting it depreciate in value.  Which makes absolutely zero sense and probably makes me a hoarder.

Needless to say...including my gamer bag, the last time I counted, I could outfit 11 LEFT handed golfers with bags, 14 clubs (Driver, mix of fairway woods/hybrids, full iron set, wedges and putter), shoes, and balls.

Like the OP, I have 3 full bags.

One gamer
One travel set that also does duty as R&D for trying out new heads, shafts etc.
One old school bag with classics that I've loved from the past.

I also have a cabinet in the garage that probably has 3 more sets of irons, 4 or five drivers, and a number of fw"s, hybrids, wedges and putters.
