doubled #15, the par 3...chunked the tee shot into a bunker...the sand was very soft, which i'm not used to, and it took 2 to get out... 41-38 for the 79...just swingin' at 70% and not trying to kill it from the top of the swing...man, the soft really goes!

I have got to play with pinnacle rush for 3 nine hole rounds now and I am really happy with this ball. Spins plenty for my game flys consistent and true. Added a few yards to all my clubs. I have scored 45 +9, 40 +4, and 41 +5 with it so far. The 40 is my low this year on a fairly difficult course for my skill level. I will be sticking with it at least til my dozen runs out then I will give the soft a go. Pinnacle really makes some decent balls for the price.

Just following up to see how these compare to the new Callaway SS, Bridgestone Soft and e-6 soft etc.
Was playing 2015 e-6 and ran out.

I played the Pinnacle Gold before and they are great for the price. They do what I need from a golf ball. I am just a high single handicapper and will not join the PGA soon. Then I switched to NXT then Callaway Supersoft. Yesterday I was able to finally get a hold of the Pinnacle Soft as I would love to try them versus the Callaway SS.

There is no ball fitting available at our area so I brought four golf balls and tried them on GC2. I tried half swing with my 58 degrees.

The Pinnacle Soft spun the most at 8000 plus RPM.
The NXT Tour S and the Callaway SS for some reason spun less for me at 6500 rpm.

Then I tried my driver with the 3. While the Nxt was longer, the Soft was the softest in my observation. I am not sure what is the compression of the soft but isn't the Super Soft supposed to be the second softest golf ball in the market, next to the Duo?

I think I will go with the Pinnacle Soft this summer because they feel softer an are cheaper than the SS.The SOFT and SS are the softest golf balls I have ever tried, other than Duo. Softer than the E6, DT Solo or Tru Soft, Srixon Soft Feel, Nxt Tour S, Noodle Soft and Long, Fifty Elite, and so on.

Here is the screen shot of the GC2 shots I hit with the driver, sorry I was not able to take a shot of the half wedge test.

Pinnacle was the first and Callaway was second and last was the NXT Tour S.

The second screen shot was with the Pinnacle Soft and I cranked the club head speed up a little.

Just finished off four rounds of golf down here in South Africa. Took a box of Softs, as the courses were all unknown to me and two were sort of mountain-like courses. Did not want to lose a bag of premium balls.
Verdict. I love the Softs. Certainly don't spin like ProV1's but I liked them off the driver and irons, while they feel really soft off the putter.

Will certainly play these for the first part of the summer to see how they perform when I get back to Canada.

Now that everyone has had a chance to compare these! Anyone compare the soft with the rush? Being playing the rush lately and find it to very long and sticks on green with short irons.

I have used the current-model TruSoft  for a few rounds and have seen the Pinnacle Soft. They do not look to have the same dimple design to me. If the Pinnacle Soft is the same as anything it might possibly be the previous version of TruSoft (which I’ve never used).
Everything has its drawbacks, as the man said when his mother-in-law died, and they came down upon him for the funeral expenses.

I thought that they are the same but not true. PS has 332 dimples and TruSoft has 376 dimples.

I found the Rush in bush and tried it against PS.  For me, PS definitely is my choice of surlyn balls.  Of course, PR is clickier all around and shorter with irons.  I recently got PS for fraction of MSRP at DSG and GG.  From what I saw, PS is pretty popular.  Go get 'em while you can.

They're selling the Pinnacle Soft at my driving range for $19-99 Canadian. Think I'll buy a few dozen to last me through the sloppy winter conditions.

Welcome back, Bill. Funny how you find the perfect ball and it doesn't come in yellow. Like a Gamersoft, QST or Duo U.

If I take 2 ibuprofen 2 hours before the round I can pretty much play pain free with my altered swing. However, ive lost 40 to 60 yds off the driver doing that...am getting pretty darn good with the 5wd to help make up the diff on 2nd shots, for the most part...one thing im noticing is chrome soft rolls out only half as much as pinn soft on the greens...like 2ft instead of 4, which says a lot about pinn!

Atleast you are out there! I go back and forth on a urethane and non - urethane ball. It's nice to see those Chromesofts bite, with a ball near the pin. But, in most cases they often check up too much leaving a long put. Where the 2 piece Pinsofts or I like the Extra Soft, seems to result in more consistent play and they are half their price.

try aleve instead of ibupropin . works better and lasts way longer for golf pains. takes a while to take effect  so your 2 hrs before is a good idea. you will be amazed at the difference

Well...last several rounds been messing around with cs and ps, and this morning in the fog went off first at blackhawk, by myself cuz nobody else was there at 7am, lol...really tried playing it safe, swinging in tempo, not trying to murder it...played cs, with the occasional ps off the tee and elsewhere...after five holes I just couldn't deal with ps, and finished out with cs...I have found that cs goes just as far off the tee, and with a tempo swing just as straight as ps...but the real ad is 60yds in...having played about ten rounds with it, I have learned the characteristics of cs, and I just cant play ps ever again...im getting the ball closer on those shorter approaches, the chipping is much better, and my putting has never been better... it feels dang soft off the tee, which initially made me feel it was shorter...but after a bunch of comparisons, cs is just as long....and I love the feel off the putter....well worth the change for me... costs more, of course, but I blow so much money on fishing lures and everything else it's no big deal, really...76 today with one birdie on the front...bogied 10 & 11, then pars til the end... sure was foggy!

IMO, comparing ps to cs is not fair.  it is like comparing decent Lexus to Scion.  PS is excellent in winter or at muni courses with carpet-like greens.

Of course! And I was a huge proponent of pinn soft...but cs is as long off the tee, plus gives all the advantages around greens you could possibly hope for...
