Redgate (don't know about the conditions)
A lot of good golf courses around there. However, if you can get on a private course than why venture out?
Worthing Manor and Cluster Spires are outstanding courses. PB dye was in good condition and has great views.

I can get on the following courses
- Chantilly National Golf & CC
- Piedmont Club - Haymarket
- River Creek Club
Which would you suggest? Or is there another course nearby you'd suggest?
Of the ones you listed - River Creek Country Club by far. It's a fun course and very playable. It's about 30 minutes away in McLean,VA...very easy to get to.
In Rockville - the ones listed above are excellent public courses...all challenging and good tests of golf.
Other suggestions: you seem to have a connection with some private clubs down here - there are several others that are very nice - and much closer than two of the ones you've mentioned, or about the same or closer than many of the publics mentioned:
Woodmont Country Club (where Shigeki Maruyama shot 58 at a US Open qualifier) - right in Rockville
10 mins away from Rockville - all are excellent golf courses - all of them "trade" with other pros so see if your pro can make a couple calls?:
Bethesda Country Club
Congressional (Blue is closed for the year - only Gold is open)
TPC Potomac/Avenel (2 greens are closed and being reshaped)
Columbia Country Club
Chevy Chase CC
Burning Tree Club
Lakewood Country Club (Rees Jones redesign - like Congressional)
30 mins away:
But in truth I think you'll love River Creek - it's a lot of fun.
