I'm visiting a buddy in West Palm Beach Florida in 3 weeks and want to play some golf. Any recommendations as to the best courses to play?

North Palm beach country club, Palm beach par 3, Palm beach national, if it hasn't rained and is dry try park ridge gc, lots of elevation changes for Florida.

The Dye Preserve is great.  While private, access is manageable.  PGA National is the other that comes to mind.

I grew up in Palm Beach Gardens (20 mins North) unfortunately public golf is not that areas forte.. Some quality tracks that are reasonable and within 45 mins, PGA Golf Club in Port St. Lucie, Eagle Marsh in Jensen Beach, Palm Beach Gardens G.C., Abacoa in Jupiter, Hammock Creek in Hobe Sound, Palm Cove Golf & Yacht Club in Palm City.. Or if you want to fork over some money PGA National, but I can tell you it's not worth what they're charging nowadays.  I was a junior member there forever and I think they charge 300+ to play the Champ now which is incredulous.  I don't know the Ft. Lauderdale/Miami area all that well, but I'm guessing there's some decent spots.  Have fun!

I was down there a few weeks ago and played Old Palm, which I really liked. Not cheap, but a great round of golf and a great club. Only problem is no walking.
